Yes between Boxxer not having a tv deal, Sky out of boxing , Matchroom living on scraps and Frank now on DAZN, boxing really has hit the buffers in the first 6 months of 2025

I think the 8 fights to win a title is about average for a barmaid, hairdresser or Only Fannies Flashers. A 'female' with many combat fights under the belt should do it in 4 fights max given the next to zero depth in female talent.

The worse thing that Frank could do now that he’s with DAZN is try to conquer America like a kid who’s just left a boy band or a 1990’s soap star. Basically it’s impossible particularly with all the focus being on Saudi but he’s turned his business around and become the no.1 promoter in Europe and taking his eye off the ball could only jeopardise what he’s achieved. Boxers are like footballers. We saw it when Boxxer joined Sky. They will go where they think the grass is greener. Hearn seems to be in a limbo land , halfway across the Atlantic, not really succeeding here or there. Surely this pointless branding exercise is an indication that he’s not happy with the way things are. If Sky came back into boxing with another promoter , you would see fighters jump ship again but with Adam Smith no longer there as head of boxing I really can’t see anyone getting a deal like Boxxers again. the longer Sky and TNT stay out of boxing the less likely they will ever come back in.

Eddie doesn't do any work anymore. He's just the front man. He thinks work is doing interviews with these YouTube idiots and hosting a presser now and then. Frank does all the 'work', making phone calls, arranging meetings, liaising with lawyers etc. Eddie doesn't do any of that. They've said it many times in certain interviews. Eddie's been getting paid 7/8 figure dividends from the company for a while now, he's resident in Monaco meaning he can't spend as much time in the UK, he's got a home in St Lucia? Or Barbados. One of the two and he's seperated/divorced from his wife. He just hasn't got the hunger anymore despite what he tells you on camera and you can see it with the way Matchroom have headed these last few years. Leaving it to Fat Frank Smith had ruined his business.
