Fury is like the Joe Biden of boxing ... trying to convince people he's #1 and has a right to be at the top, when he's past his used by date.

Who would need it. He’s beat him clearly twice.

If Fury comes looking for the KO it would be worth it and an interesting fight, but he has to promise that and go through with it.
He he comes to have a boxing match and poke around it's probably going to end the same, though the matches were competitive so you never know and good shots can sometimes land and change fights.
But yeah, has to change it up for it to be worthwhile now.

I think even his haters would admit that if he came in like Wilder II or the second part of the Cunningham fight and just went for it it could be exciting to watch and see how Usyk deals with that.

Haters don't admit. They go out of their way to create narratives that help ensure they don't need to admit.

Pre fight the hater ensures he posts something like : "If Fury beats Usyk he was old and past prime."

It's a form of insurance and then if Fury wins that's the hater's get out of jail card.

He promised it in the last two and never attempted it.

I mean, you have to be fair, here. I am not a Fury "hater." He has done a lot to **** us off in the last few years, but I was once a big fan, would still like to see him against Joshua, and am on record saying that if he does beat Joshua and has another good run, he'll go down as an ATG.

But I and most others are done with Fury-Usyk. He had his chance, and blew it against a "middleweight rabbit." And yeah, if you keep giving him and infinite number of chances, then he will eventually win one, maybe because Usyk is too old, and maybe just because Usyk slips on a banana peel that big-John threw on the ground.

Usyk vs Dubois II is a undisputed title fight between 2 best fighters in the division. The fact that it was critisized is actually astonishing. Yes, we would prefer Usyk fighting Parker or Kabayel, cause we haven't seen these match ups yet, but we can't like a title holder and unviersally recognized number 1 contender isn't a worthy challenger just because he already fought Usyk.

Usyk should state " 70/30 or no fight ".

Dubois isn't the universally recognized #1 contender. His chance to solidify himself as a legitimate rival champion to Usyk was by beating WBO-interim champion, Parker, but he ducked the fight.

Them marketing it as an Undisputed fight is a bad joke, really. It's just a technicality so they can avoid fighting Parker (WBO mandatory) for less money. This will be two mandatories in a row Usyk has avoided in order to fight someone he has already beaten because more money is involved.

Bringing it back to the thread topic, it wouldn't surprise me if Usyk makes it three in a row by dropping the WBO next, so he can fight Fury for more money. Maybe they will try to semi-legitimize it by getting Fury to fight Pulev for the regular, or through the WBC (Sulaiman) just gifting him a title shot. lol

I think he tried it. Sometimes you have to give credit to the opponent for not letting you fight your game.

In fact I think one of the biggest surprises for fury was that he couldn’t even big man usyk around.

I am glad you said it. I wanted to see Parker, still do, and I feel for those who feel he got screwed, but you are exactly right. This is who Usyk perceives as his biggest rival at the moment, and he ought to be respected for taking him head on.

It should come as no surprise. Usyk has been practicing various forms of grappling before boxing, and you can see, especially in the second fight, the few times Fury did try to lean on him, Usyk effortlessly slipped away and hit him. In fact, it was so clean, I think a lot of people didn't notice.

It doesn't work like that with Turki. He deals out $$$ not splits.
