No sources besides Sanders himself. Sanders lost to Rahman which is why he lost his ranking. Vitali Klitschko pulled out against Hasim Rahman like 3 or 4 times and retired instead of letting his injuries heal but nobody in their right mind thinks Klitschko avoided Rahman. Michael Moorer also went the Foreman route instead of Lewis
Brother you glaze over Usyk in every thread and accuse people of being biased and nostalgic anytime anyone picks against Usyk in a H2H mythical match up. Where am i constantly trying to discredit Usyk ? I've favoured him over Louis, Foreman. I've said Usyk is my number 1 Cruiserweight of all time and a top 15 Heavyweight of all time. I've put Usyk in my top 10 in regards to H2H ability at Heavyweight. So what more praise do i need to give him ? like what ? And yet many people on this forum believe these fights should be included in Usyk's Heavyweight resume hence that's why i said it. In the thread here Usyk won a poll in favour of his WSB fights being included to his resume. https://www.boxingforum24.com/threa...lishments-to-contribute-to-his-legacy.735882/ And here's another interesting post. "More like 16, actually. His six World Series of Boxing fights were all against guys who were big heavyweights (Fa, Joyce, Nistor, etc.) and those were all supposed to go on the boxers' professional records, and DID, initially, because they were professional fights. Five rounds, three-minute rounds, pro rules, and they all got paid. But the top amateurs who lost demanded they be removed." No he wasn't clearly robbed in a bunch of those losses the only bad decision was the Helenius fight. The Parker fight was controversial but not a robbery and Parker beat Chisora comprehensively the 2nd time knocking him down 4 times. Vitali, Haye, Whyte 2, Parker 2, Kabayel, Fury 1 2 3, Usyk, all beat Chisora with no controversy and that's 9 out of 13 Chisora's losses. Whyte 1 was close not a robbery. And are we forgetting Chisora himself got the benefit of the doubt vs Pulev the 2nd time ? a fight he easily could've lost ? Chisora does give opponents issues yes and he's tough but he's not an upper echelon Heavyweight and is still a fringe contender. Haye hurt Chisora anytime he landed and won pretty much every round and finished off Chisora in 5 rounds impressively The weight disadvantage was nigh on identical to what Usyk had except Chisora was younger and fresher vs Haye. So what if he was smaller ? Briedis gave Usyk his toughest fight and he was a Cruiserweight not a Super Heavyweight. Mavrovic was a good amateur had a 27-0 record as a professional and showed a titanium chin. Lewis still beat him very widely on the scorecards and won by a wider margin than what Usyk did vs Chisora.
Hard to know who has it in for me. You say it isn't you,I believe you but the rest of my message stands other than blasting you with others (that was wrong) I was hoping it wasn't you and I do believe it I stand by my post, I'm done with the forum. Again you show you are a moral man, but some authorative posters certainly dislike me. Despite our differences with boxers, I always respected you. I wouldn't abuse you Anyway this forum has outgrown me and vice versa. I really wish you and your family the best and hope you have a great life sincerely (other than usyk losing)
I can assure you none of the mods have it in for you, let alone this one. Some mods take a harder line on certain things than others and vice versa. If one of them did have in for you you would've been permabanned already Thanks. Likewise. It's not personal I'm just the CEO of Usyk inc and I'm doing the job I'm supposed to do as such. You're hurling rocks at the Holy Church of Usyk and I'm security Just forget about it and come back tomorrow when you've slept it off
I'm gone for a month or so mate at least. I'll return, but let's let the dust settle I didn't think it was you and yes, you are right they have give me chances. I apologise again for making assumptions. No matter what anyone thinks of me, when I'm wrong I say I'm wrong. I'll be back Serge, but like a good robber, I need to lay low for a bit lol Take care
Ok if i can just say one last thing BTW and then you can end this conversation with your reply later. We can differ on opinions but i don't like that you're insinuating i'm constantly trying to discredit Usyk and have an agenda against Usyk or that i'm always biased towards older fighters because that's not true. I may not rate Usyk as highly as you do but i still rate him highly and he's the only Heavyweight now that i even like because he's not a big lumbering Heavyweight. He's a smaller skillful Heavyweight and the size of 70s/80s Heavyweights which i appreciate more. No i'm not a fan of Lewis but i think he would beat Usyk and i also think Frazier, Tyson, would because ATG swarmers i believe would be a bad style match up for Usyk. But outside of those names and a prime Ali i would give Usyk a good chance of beating alot of the other notable Heavyweights.
OK, but you'll miss this place after a few days and be itching to come back much sooner Thanks. No worries. As I said before, I've never banned you and I consider any negative words uttered about Usyk hate speech lol You too
The big question mark here is how would Lennox do against a southpaw and a good mover a style of fighter Lennox never really had a chance to fight. The closest would be Holyfield in the second fight and Holyfield gave him quite a challenge despite not being close to his best. Based on that plus Lennox tendency to tire and need breaks to go the full distance plus Usyk being a southpaw I think Usyk would win over the distance.
Usyk would take Lennox apart. Lewis always struggled against a good jab and movement. He wouldn't be able to adapt to the movement and angles of attack that Usyk would be constantly creating. Usyk is also very adept at taking away the jab and uppercut of orthodox fighters which Lewis relied on to score and do damage.
Since they can’t find an active boxer who can beat Usyk, they’re digging into the past to find an opponent and claiming, “This guy would beat Usyk.” Let me tell you: with his agility and talent, Usyk would beat Lewis even more easily than he beat Fury.
Excellent post. Usyk haters desperately look for holes in his game but he is a near perfect boxer and has no losses or controversial results.
