A stay busy fight doesn’t have to be a pudding. Remain active / stay busy whatever you want to call it Dubois wanted to continue his roll rather than just wait until Usyk is ready. Dubois would have pulverised Parker. The tide has turned for him now and he’s well and truly arrived on the world stage. He’s not losing anytime soon.

Dubois doesn't owe Parker a fight unless he beats Usyk and this is coming from a Parker fan. Dubois and team did act shady though and muck everyone around. And he paid for it to a certain extent in the court of public opinion, prior to his no show against Parker everyone was high on Dubois and loved him, afterwards he has way less fans and even some British people are wanting Usyk to beat him.

If Dubois loses to Usyk he will be in a pretty bad position reputation wise and without a belt (though his bank account will be fatter), he'd probably be lucky to get a bout with Parker at that point. If he wins though, all is forgiven and he will be top of the world and then he will have to fight Parker or drop the WBO.

 

Winner of Usyk-Dubois (Usyk) should give Parker a shot.
