Jofre is latino, but not hispanic. Brazilians are one of the small few in that category.

The list should be latino fighters, not hispanic. Hispanic discriminates by language, latino just goes off ancestry.

Although if we want to be humorous, Canelo is hispanic, but he might not actually be latino, looking at him. Probably pure Spaniard in terms of bloodline. Maybe some Irish thrown in?

There’s so much wrong with this list, but one of many is that Torres is absurdly high.

The more you look at this list, the worse it gets. Sixto Escobar, Mexican Joe Rivers, Jose Torres, Luis Firpo, and Ricardo Cardona all being above Vicente Saldivar and Carlos Zarate is hilariously bad. I'm also pretty sure Mexican Joe Rivers shouldn't even be on a list like this since he's Mexican-American (and also wasn't that great in the first place).

I know I’m throwing invective around, but the General Forum could come up with better than this.

    Wait, where's Julio Cesar Chavez?

Firpo? Even a Hector Camacho, Edwin Rosario, Pipino Cuevas, Tito Trinidad, or De La Hoya over Firpo.

    Oh, shucks. Wasn't paying attention.

    But Pipino Cuevas still stands.

This list was made in 1981, so none of those men would be eligible apart from Pipino, who himself doesn't really have an impressive resume. More glaring omissions are guys like Manuel Ortiz, Nicolino Locche, Rodrigo Valdez, Betulio Gonzalez, Carlos Hernandez, Horacio Accavallo, Pedro Montanez, Ernesto Marcel, Juan Zurita, Kid Azteca, Esteban De Jesus, and Chuco Castillo.

Thanks, sir. We covered that above.

I stand by Pipino above Firpo.

Probably a very reasonable list for the time it was comprised. Monzon had an amazing resume and Duran still had a long ways to go in his career

They'd probably but Canelo first and Shakur second, i'd choose this list any day of the week

Sanchez is number 1. The only debate is that he died so young ... to me on film he's the best.
