Some have been speculating that this will be his last, but in the latest interview, starting at about a minute, he seems to confirm that he will have an opponent after Dubois..."I don't know who..." Let's hope for Joe Parker.

Says he could have gotten up from the low blow it he had do.

Also notable that he mentioned that he has beaten Joe Joyce. He seems to consider those WSB fights as part of his pro career.

Parker put it to Usyk recently that he'd like to fight him and Usyk said "No, no, no."

Yes hes going to fight his "mandatory" Chisora to fufill the prophecy of rematches.

    "I love my British opponents".

Yeah I think everyone figured that one out already.

Sad to say but he’s definitely not retiring undefeated

That is what Parker said. There are two sides to every story.

Besides, that may have been when Usyk said two fights left, and had Dubois and the performative fight against Pereira booked in. Pereira is obviously not happening now, and I made a thread on a recent interview where Usyk walked back the two-fight idea, and said he doesn't know how many left. Seems he is re-evaluating to stay in longer, which means he very well might have some room for mandos.

At least I am hoping. Just remember, he has not publicly said no to anything, yet. Let's settle business with Dubois, and if he wins, and I don't see why he won't, then we will see what he has in mind.

My humble, realistic hope is that he fights Parker. My outlandish wish is that after that, he abandons the heavyweight titles, picks up the WBC bridgerweight belt, and uses that to get his fan-friendly match against Beterbiev, and defenses against Wilder, and even his Pereira match at that weight. Some fun but relatively safe fights to extend things a bit.

But that is all fantasy. The Parker fight could and should really happen.

Usyk will continue until he loses to someone who is a level below him, just like so many legends have before him. His team should be telling him it's time to bow out after Dubois 2. I suspect Krassyuk might have said something along these lines and it hasn't gone down too well with those who are on the Usyk gravy train.

Father Time is undefeated, and Usyk is no different; every fight after this Dubois match will be one that he could lose because of his age. He's an icon, but I don't see him as the indestructible force that many people do. He has nothing left to prove; he's cleaned out this era, albeit a meager one, and if he hangs around too long, he will eventually lose to someone he would never have lost to a year or two ago.

He will be the first to retire undefeated since Marciano. After Dubois it's Fury 3. Usyk will know when it's time to go, the new generation will start sweeping up in 2 years

 he is going to fight:
    Fury - 3 times
    Joshua - 3 times
    Dubois - 2 times
    Chisora - 2 times

Somehow he will probably end up fighting Gassiev a second time too, or something as equally stupid.

The people who exist now are completely futuristic to many people who existed in the past, making us now way ahead of our time from back then. If you cannot understand that then I'm afraid you are just a big stupid head. Usyk though from now, will make the future Usyk look like he was just living in the past.

Parker : “I went up to him and said, ‘You’ve got two fights left. Next is Dubois, and your last one should be with me.’ And he replied, ‘No, no, no.’”

Feel free to find and post Usyk denying what Parker said.

Beating Parker after Dubois is better for legacy than Fury 3. Unless Fury beats another top HW, like Parker, I dont see how Fury 3 *should* happen before Parker.

Happy to see any of those three fight though

Of course he is. His last fight won’t be a knockout loss to Dubois.

Usyk had stated some time ago that he would have 2 fights before retiring. One is with Dubois, the other I don't know. In the interview where he had said about these 2 fights before retiring he had added that he would like a fight with shootfighter Alex Pereira. In my opinion it is very unlikely to see Usyk - Pereira, we will know more after the 19th.

Noticeable that he hasn't mentioned Parker at all except to downplay the possibility of a fight. In theory Parker should be his next fight if he beats Dubois, that or he drops the belt. He has even mentioned guys like Periera etc before an actual contender other than one he has already beaten.

Usyk gets a bit of a pass because he is likeable, but another champ would be getting roasted for only fighting every 8 months and holding up the division like he has. I get it, he has rematch clauses etc, but still the gap between fights is way too long when you hold most/all the belts in the division.

Also is it just me or is he looking noticeably older here?

WSB was under pro rules. Under pro rules, he did fight Joyce, and mauled him. Pretty much used Joyce's face as a speed bag. Yeah, doesn't count for his record, but he beat him.
