I can’t say which man had the most power in their punches. What I can say is that Lennox Lewis was the most EFFECTIVE puncher of three men, which of course is not just about power itself.

Of the three choices, Lennox Lewis did it best.

Lewis with the right hand and right uppercut. Joshua with the left hook. Bruno is good with both hands but maybe not quite as powerful as Lewis's right or Joshua's left.

Bruno hit hard man, uppercuts that were arm punches were taking guys up off their feet and down in a heap.

Irrelevant. Once you get above a certain point, which all three are here, all that matters is the ABILITY to land flush. And beyond obviously, Lewis was the best at landing them here.

Would I rather be Zhang or Tyson? I'm trying to match a 10 against a 9. I'd rather have Tyson's power/speed/stamina over Zhang's, any day of the week. Even though, best punch for best punch, I'd put money on Zhang hitting a good amount harder.

    This.

Its always funny to come across a Ruddock vs Foreman thread and the replies are just “Ruddock wins he hits harder” or “Foreman wins he hits harder”. When fighters in question are 6’3 and 220 lbs at the least, unless they are pillow-fisted, it doesn’t even matter who hits harder between the two, because both can knock each other out if they land clean enough. Its all about who can connect more.

Back to the question, I’d say AJ and Lewis hit around equally hard with their best shots and Bruno is most likely a little behind them.

    Lewis with the overhand right
all have serious power though, but I have to give the edge to Lewis who is more proven

Hey @McGrain how many versions of “M Anthony” “Ant” “Mark Ant” “Mark Anthony” etc does this make ? - I’m really glad to not see them die off and the species actually thriving, at one time @Mark Anthony (are you the original Mark Ant?) was so lonesome.

Leroy Caldwell said there was no difference between Bruno's power and guys like Foreman and Shavers. In terms of pure brute strength, Bruno was about as strong a puncher as you can get. If you let everyone tee off on a perfect measuring target, and Bruno hit hardest, at the static target throwing everything he had, it'd be about what I'd expect. But Lennox had punch selection and judgment for when to press attacks and how that make him so much more dangerous than AJ or Bruno. And AJ might be quicker than either other man and that counts for something but Lennox is the best puncher, for sure, even if Bruno is a hair stronger, if he is.
