I feel like Gassiev has always been training hard, maybe too hard actually considering his luck with injuries.

Gassiev seems to have wasted his talent so far. Pity. Hope he can rebuild.

 

I hold out the smallest hope. He's still only 31, and though a solid six years has gone down the drain due to injuries, he looked good against Lindquist, finishing him with the first left hook to the body thrown with bad intentions we have seen from Gassiev in years.

 

The good news is that he has a fight on boxrec 8/23.

The bad news is that it is TBA, so another bum.

He's just putting in his once-a-year appearance.
