Always to a degree, but especially later on; Bobby Chacon and his right hand.

Adonis Stevenson as time progressed only had his left hook. Tbf it did bail him out a couple of times.

Good call. I was thinking of Donnie The Golden Boy and his bionic right hand. Not enough to hold off Sugar Ray. That was a spectacular KO win for Leonard.

Joe Frazier… took a minute? Thought he’d be the #1 pick.

i can agree Frazier was overly reliant on the left hook. But he did work the body with both hands. His right hand to the body was effective.

Whereas a guy like Wilder is almost entirely one handed.

He might have overused the left hook but he had a lot more than that. Tua ko'd Michael Moorer with a right hook.

He ko'd Daniels with a double left uppercut.

When I see "overly reliant", I think of it in a way that was to their detriment. Frazier was so damn good with that hook that he'd have been nuts to not spam it all night long every fight. It was his fastest punch, it was his hardest punch, he threw it equally well to the head and to the body, and somehow he could double or triple it up rapidly.

So he was reliant on it, but overly so? No, wisely so.

True, but the OP says "overtly" reliant. Frazier's reliance was very overt.
