I don't know why he doesn't just fight in this shape all the time and accept that he's a lazy trainer. It's way too late for him to change habits now being 33 with 33 pro fights next to his name. He worked hard twice in his career to get into shape, once against Lenroy Thomas where it was called off in the first round, and the other against David Price, and we know how that ended for him.
Jamie "always talks sense" Moore with a load of shite on talkshite earlier today saying Allen is now taking everything totally seriously, despite clearly gaining even more fat after the Fisher match, and saying Allen has the potential to be a superstar. Jesus ****.
Who does Dave realistically beat at British level? Adeleye- No, Fraser Clarke- No, Jeamie TKV- No. His only fight for decent money where he does not get battered is the trilogy fight with Bosh. Anything above British level and he gets splattered. He cannot go back to fighting cream puffs for £10k-£20k a pop as this is his attempt to make some money before retirement.
Adeleye is shite. He'd do better against Clarke now. He'd definitely beat "TKV" who's a wet fart. He's at least competitive against all of those names, provided he is motivated, and I think he would be, especially with a British belt on the line. He'd be favoured to beat "TKV" who would look weak as fook in there against Allen.
Not a chance in hell he beats any of those 3. I doubt he faces any of them though, he knows what his level is and knows he cannot afford another L at this stage. If he does though, I will be bumping this thread and reminding you of this post.
