That's a lot of words to say "dad bods" but you do you.

Do we even know how many times Jack could put up two plates a side? His 40 time?

No, he posed with a couple horses as though he were holding them from going anywhere. Anyone from the country can tell you that is straight up bull****.

Yep - Johnson will be even closer to his element which consisted of gloves as thin as gardening gloves - not like the pillows Foreman was used to. Really piling on for JJ eh? - Holmes, Dempsey, JJ and John L are probably the best “street fighters” of all the HW champs with there cross training with boxing / wrestling - guy like Ali would stand 0 hope against say John L.

Foreman is stronger but Johnson wins a street fight, which for whatever reason is where the thread has headed lol

I would be interested in seeing how George supposedly fared against Judo practitioners though

I don't think so honestly, he is probably the best HW ever had at physically bullying a guy due to his skills + strength but put him against Bakole and he ain't pushing around anything. Foreman was really strong but only 215-225 lbs in his prime, however strong he is the minimum 30 lbs he gives up against the HWs of today is gonna show.

I said any GOOD wrestler. Johnson probably wasn't a good wrestler even for that period of time and he probably loses the street fight but a good one above 200 lbs absolutely toys with Foreman AND Johnson for that matter.

This is another silly thread hijacked by J92 who likes to play disrupter. That said , if you actually take the time to watch Johnson vs Jeffries , Johnson was pretty skilled at how to apply leverage to maximize his physical gifts. While he was a very strong guy I'll say Foreman was naturally stronger but likely less trained in how to apply it outside of roughhousing and street fighting ... We've seen time and again in the old ABC superstar competitions that knowing how to apply strength far supersedes raw strength ..

A female blue belt in ji jitsu can fold untrained men her size or slightly above I’ve seen this myself… - I doubt Johnson was a “good wrestler” too… but you don’t need to be to when you’re a strong guy who isn’t that much smaller then your opponent who has no clue what they’re doing and isn’t trained for the environment.

How did I hijack it? Go for it, I kept it within a reasonable discussion, wrestling is all we’ve got here and Johnson > Foreman otherwise it’s strongman / media stunts and hypothetical bench numbers? Etc or do we just look at them like bodybuilders and guesstimate? As it pertains to boxing Johnson is functionally stronger if they clinch or are offered a shot at grappling.

Bakole is obviously a very big and strong guy, but he's also fat as hell. No professional boxer has any business weighing 300 lbs, especially with his chunky physique.

I'm not suggesting 70's Foreman could shove him around, but it's anyone's guess how heavy or strong an in shape Bakole would be since he's so undisciplined and out of shape. He's well on his way to becoming this era's Samuel Peter.

90's Foreman was almost certainly stronger than Bakole tho. Much more defined muscle and an absolute powerhouse when it comes to raw strength and functional strength in the ring. Holyfield couldn't believe how strong he was compared to his much younger opponents.
