Joe Louis being past prime lost against Ezzard Charles, but I would still fight Charles not Louis because he was more dangerous.

Ezzard Charles beat past prime Louis, does that mean that Charles was better or more dangerous than Louis?

All of them except Cooper started LHW, all of them bulked up a bit an they were not real CW let alone HWs.

    And?
Charles beats Louis who beats Walcott who beats Charles.

Even tho Charles beat Louis, Louis was the more dangerous man even past prime.

Because he didn't beat anyone good, Meehan achieved more being even smaller than Ellis which makes him even greater.

You gentlemen should ask ChatGPT. Its answer was similar to mine. Sonny could have likely whupped every boxer The Brown Bomber did with an important caveat and that caveat is he couldn't do it in the same time period. Sonny lacked discipline. That was probably Joe's greatest asset.

Louis it was more a question of his power vanishing then being washed. Louis was still a fine boxer he lacked the thing that made him unbeatable.

This is the non 32 page answer, and it was always a very simple one.

    Total nonsense.
Patterson began boxing as a middleweight

So did Jack Johnson, Mike Spinks and Jack Dempsey.
    Langford began as a welterweight.
A while back you said Leotis Martin only bulked up to fight Liston,I proved that was rubbish.
You also said Meehan beat Langford in1917 two of us proved you wrong on that.Every time you made a wrong statement you were corrected and ignored it.
You make no allowances for time scales which makes your statement ridiculous. You make these remarks that are so illogical and stupid, you just have to be trolling.Nobody could be that dense!

You didn't say that Charles "wasn't even near the level of past prime Louis". If you had, I'd have corrected you on that, too.

    No.Jimmy Ellis was a world-heavyweight champion and Oscar Bonavena was a world-class,
    extremely durable contender.

But you mocked Jimmy Ellis for being a so-called light-heavyweight and now you are
praising Willie Meehan for beginning his career as a flyweight !
