This is pretty much my prediction. That renewed confidence everyone says he has is gonna end up biting him in the ass when he realizes very quickly what worked for dudes like Hrgovic and Miller ain't gonna work on Usyk. Actually it wasn't working on Hrgovic either since any reasonable card had Hrgovic winning, but you get the idea. Though for what it's worth I thought Dubois was gonna stop Hrgovic for real if it went on, largely due to him having blown his gas tank out... which again, is not something Usyk will do.

Anyways, I'm predicting Usyk ends it before the halfway mark this time.

 

Definitely agree. He seems confused in there. He looked the best when he was on the front foot doing what he does best but then he suddenly closes up for long periods in a high guard eating shots. He has all the tools but needs to work on his mental game. I still think he would have stopped him in a 12 rounder. 10 rounds suck ass.

 

idk, Puello is really tricky guy to fight. I don't think he's anything special but I do think GAR is a more dynamic kind of pressure fighter than Matias, even if GAR did look off that night. I think Puello has more than a chance since he's a long, rangy, tricky southpaw but I do hope that Matias wins. Puello likes to mix it up a little bit too much and I hope that will be his downfall tonight.

Usyk breaks opponents down with his constant feints. He overloads your with non-stop aggression and makes you think every second of the fight, even if punches are not thrown.
There is a great sequence in the first Fury fight where Usyk does 3 consecutive level change feints just to land a single body jab. Thats insane.

Dubois has shown nothing that suggest he has adapted to this.
What he has shown is fighting dirtier than ever before, and a slightly more aggressive approach.

 

I only now just realised that Puello has the exact kind of style that Mora jacks off to. Expect some meat-riding.
