Groves was in the last match of his career for a reason, and he only had one arm. To say it was the shell of Groves would be an understatement. Buatsi would’ve beat that Groves by KO.

I have never bought that. Groves was boxing well until he got stopped. Smith was edging it, but it was competitive. Look at the stoppage. It was a wonderful finish, that has nothing to do with an injury. Great catch and counter and finish by Smith.

First time I've read this opinion. Groves looked ****. If he was so good, why didn't he continue to box? He was 30. He was absolutely ****ed.

Because he has a hard back end to his career. He kept going to the well, to win a world title. He got beat of a better younger fighter. He had made his money, knew it wasn't going to get better. Having achieved his financial and sporting achievement (world title) he lost the drive. He was smart and got out at the correct time.

That's a really backwards way to say that he was finished. He was shot to bits. An absolute shadow against Smith who has only had one decent win since, and that was against Buatsi at about Euro level.

He was boxing well against Smith. The better man won. It was a really good battle of the jabs. Smith had been wanting that fight for years, as he always thought he had Groves number.

you can’t honestly believe that. Groves looked like a one-armed shell of a shell . If Grives wasn’t shot why did he pack it in, and why hasn’t Smith had a top win since with Buatsi being by far the best win, and he is about Euro level. That’s seven years.

I'm giving Yarde a shot here as daft as it may seem.
Benavidez doesn't look to have Carried his power up in weight and was dropped by Morrell.
Biggest issue is stamina Benavidez can go all night Yarde has had stamina issues when he's stepped up before.

Tunde’s tactics for Yarde in world title fights so far have been try not to get knocked out in the first 6 and then choose a random round to ‘empty the wank’.

it's because Yarde is a pumped up light-heavyweight and would be a middleweight without the hypertrophy. That's why his stamina is awful and he does nothing until he empties the wank and then runs out of steam. On top of that he walks around the ring
