There is a reason Clenelo isn’t a monster favorite at -190

He has been slipping for a while and since the Bivol pasting, he’s fought top guys but no one top tier

    It’s over for him

i was unable to see the fight uninterrupted, so i saw sporadic rounds, but it looked to me like shakur was in complete control the whole time. he seemed to be doing his floyd imitation too much, but he was doing it better than ive seen anyone else do it.
he did get hit square a few times, usually when he was trying to be cute. but he covered up quite well on the inside, where many people thought he couldnt fight. if im his handler, im happy with where hes at right now. needs more polish, that will come with facing more complete fighters, but the talent is there.

Easy to pull off a heist or create a fictitious narrative when you have a full set of a home ref and three home judges (as we did again tonight) and home commentary team

Look no further than the main event last night. The commentary team were trying their hardest to gaslight us into believing we were witnessing an amazing fight when it was a very dull affair with way more punches hitting air than flesh and bone.

He gets his fighters to stay in the pocket and sit down on their punches more and keeps it real basic, just a well timed 1-2 is often all it needs if there's some real venom behind it, and especially if on the counter.

Shakur is the best in the world right now after Inoue. Crawford, Canelo, Uysk all on the slide. Shakur beats Tank too

Don't bother using facts with this knob. Not going to work.

I'd add Josh Taylor to your list. And even Dubois, the dope that he is, talks crap. Naseem Hamad was and is a talker.

Bottom line is there are trash talkers in every country but the poster you were responding to thinks all Brits are Sir Galahad. Pure nonsense.

No question the scores were outrageous. A 118-110 score should reflect a beating not a completive fight. That judge Feldman has been making insane scores for years.

Not even close. Bivol and Beterbeiv are ahead of him. If that was Beterbiev in there instead of Zepeda (who I thought was overrated going into the fight), he'd get knocked out. I will say that Canelo is on the border of leaving the top 10. The guy stopped caring years ago.

There are a lot guys starting to making a good claim like Rodriguez, Nakatani, Ennis and Janibek. Everyone just needs one big fight to propel them.

The tiny majestic isle of Great Britain which despite our minuscule population and ferocious aversion to weight bullying, PEDs, Tom and Jerry boxing, ungentlemanly and unsportsmanlike conduct, use of dirty tactics and cheating etc.. produces and has long produced by far the best fighters and fiercest warriors in the game and every single one of our noble warriors who has been corrupted to the dark side and are actually guilty of these wrongdoings was corrupted by their idol Roy, the American modern school of slickness, and the uncouth trash talkers from across the pond. Deal with it, grandpa :deal:

I made multiple posts about this. He very much reminded me of Floyd last night. The talent is 100% there. If I’m his handler, I’m very happy.

I can’t imagine Floyd would be interested, but if he was… imagine Shakur trained by Floyd. Couldn’t imagine a more perfect match. Floyd is still young enough to spar and actually show Shakur what he’s trying to teach, and Shakur is actually capable of pulling off Floyd’s moves. And Floyd is clearly Shakur’s idol (rightfully so), so I’d expect Shakur to STFU and learn. Because with some polish, man.
