I want that book also. Last I checked I think it was about $30 au, paperback, on Amazon Aus.

Didn’t know about the chapter dedicated to Liston - that serves to whet my appetite even more.

That price is fine but I’ve waited quite some time for a special member discount - but it has never come though I’ve received and taken advantage of all other manner of excellent offers from Amazon - and always free, express delivery.

Maybe time for me to bite the bullet.

Just random but I recently rewatched Leonard vs Ranzany, the latter being one, super tough guy.

Easy to forget how insanely fast and powerful the young Leonard was - and with the oh so important killer instinct in tow. Ray didn’t take any prisoners.

Also, I didn’t necessarily recall how bad the ref was - Christ, did he need to see Ranzany almost killed before stopping the fight?

Pete was clearly ****ed after the first KD……

Liston for skills? He isn’t a pimple on Toney’s a$$ when it comes to pure boxing lol. I like @Stonehands89 he's a cool guy, I really enjoy his books but his opinion (if this is true) is absolutely wrong.

I hear you mate. To whet your appetite more, he may have even pushed speculation that the early Liston, pre title, might be the GOAT H2H. I'm pretty sure i was told that. Emanuel Steward had immense praise as well.

His fight with Doug Jones was awesome. Definitely check that out if you've not seen it.

Great writer highly recommend any of his books.

Salvador Sanchez, would be very slick at using the feint and landing.
