Joe Frazier-Joseph Parker seems to be getting quite a bit of attention, how does he do against the Rock?

Parker just beats him down in the most prosaic fashion imaginable. KO 6.

This is one of these ridiculous matchups. Can we not?

How does Parker do against Bivol? Bivol is bigger than Marciano, steps into the ring weighing more than Marciano.

This isn’t true. Bivol is taller, but his frame is narrow compared to Marciano’s, so he isn’t bigger than Marciano.

Also, Bivol enters the ring between 183-185, which is what a light heavyweight should be coming in the ring at. A 175 pounder coming in the ring much heavier actually does more harm than good.

Here is Bivol himself talking about his weight.

“When I perform, my weight is 185 pounds maximum. In normal life I weigh about 190 pounds. Going down to 175 won't be difficult. I'm just starting training camp and my weight is coming down. I feel like I can pack more, but I just don’t want to. I remember doing this during my amateur days. Then I only thought about food and water, but not about fighting. Of course, if there is a good reason to go down to 168 pounds, and if it comes to a fight for the belt, I will try my best. “

15 rounds for the heavyweight championship of the world it’s Marciano by mid to late round ko. Prime Marcianos ability to fight low and small, parry, block, Bob and weave and move effortlessly from back to front to back foot makes him a difficult target to hit cleanly.

I am going to favour Parker. Unlike Frazier, Marciano wasn't tested vs quality 210 plus pound heavyweights except an aging Louis. Frazier was also a good 20 lbs bigger than Rocky and that can make a difference.

That being said, If Parker does not get Marciano out of there in six rounds, he will start to slow down. Remember current Parker is 267 lbs. We have no idea how his stamina would hold up over 12 rounds.

So my guess is Parker lands something big and ends it early but if he doesn't get Marciano out of there, Marciano will wear him down.

And i wouldn't compare Bivol to Marciano. Bivol is a light hitting light heavy. Marciano has much much greater power.
