Tank eventually finds Shakey on the ropes doing that Philly roll or shoulder roll or jelly roll whatever it is, and hits him in his big open mouth. Shakey hits the canvas, unconcious. Then Tank gets sent back to his prison cell.
Shakur is really good and cute but I do believe that if Tank is on then Tank will get to him and close the show.
Definitely not out of the question for Tank to win it by KO but the problem for him has always been his over reliance on his power and waiting too long for counter opportunities which leads to having this tendency to get outworked early before upping his punch output. When someone shows no fear of his power, pushes him and outhustles him that's when he's at his most vulnerable. As long as Shakur fights carefully while also picking his spots without getting hit by Tank's bomb then he should win it clearly.
Shakur isn't a powder puncher. He's a sharp hitter who can fight at any range including up close as he showed against Zepeda. I don't think he can knock Tank out but he's certainly outboxing him.
I favour Shakur, but tank is a pitbull and he could definitely knock him out. I'd love to see the fight
I think it is a a good boxer with solid chin. Roach isn’t a devastating puncher. He used sound boxing and had good chin. Davis landed good shots that didn’t phase Roach. If Stevenson’s chin hold up , he wins cause Davis will get his shots in.
Although this seems counterintuitive, given his antics and actions outside of the ring, Tank's actually quite clever inside of it and has more craft than he's often given credit for. While not on Inoue's level, Tank's punch selection and accuracy when he drops the kill-switch is nevertheless excellent. He's also fast, faster in fact than any fighter Stevenson has ever fought. Indeed, he's probably the first opponent Stevenson has faced with similar athleticism. I certainly wouldn't count him out against Stevenson.
He literally can’t even throw a power shot because of how fragile his hands are, took 9 rounds to stop a fighter he was picking apart at will. You need more than that against Tank, he’s got nothing to cause worry beyond his untouchable-ness, and Tank is patient as they come.
Shakur schools him - Tank will miss every punch - look how Roach who is not even 20% as slick at Shakur made Tank miss.
Won't be surprised if Twink catches him, hurts him badly and KOs him with the follow up attack as Shakur is on ***** street and is unable to defend himself. Shakur was terrified of the power of De Los Santos because De Los Santos also had a bit of speed and athleticism to him and wasn't the usual predictable plodder fodder Shakur has generally been feasting on. Don't get me wrong, Twink lost to Lamonty Roach and would probably only warrant a 15-20 P4P ranking at best but he's fast, powerful, explosive and skilful and he probably knows how to deal with the shoulder roll due to his years spent under Floyd's tutelage and he possesses the speed and skill to catch Shakur clean That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if Shakur outpointed him wide either because he has elite skill, Twink has never fought anyone elite his entire career and that's totally by design, and for a brief moment he was looking to quit vs Lamonty who isn't even a puncher which exposed am underlying real mental weakness.
Shakur by UD is the safe bet. I really don’t think he’d just lay there and let Tank go to work on him like he was doing with Zepeda. Shakur I honestly felt was having fun in there with Zepeda and would use his jab and angles to throw Tank off rhythm most of the night.
Exactly Shakur was out to prove a point and bear Zepeda without running. He fought the guy at his own game and still won. He could have moved more and won much more easily in a more boring contest Tank is a beast and can't be counted out, but I think Shakur would likely do him in points.
