Tyson early KO. Mike is quicker and hit harder in my opinion. Not only that, he also had the better defence and by far the better footwork/footspeed which would make the différence.
Great fight, Tyson in 6-8 with a few moments by CS but I’d be unsurprised to see Sanders hurt him badly and in say 8 bouts he’d win 1 by KO lol.
Sanders had 1 good win in his career apart from that his career was unremarkable and he got 1 shotted by the likes of Nate Tubbs in his prime he also leaves himself wide open. Tyson gets rid of Sanders in under 6 rounds.
I’m going with Tyson, he may get rocked with a left uppercut or something, but his attrition would probably pull through over Sanders’, he’d get low, and time a trigger happy Sanders with a left hook or right over the top as Sanders throws while staying straight up with his chin high in range. That was something Sanders often did, he’d land some punches, get over confident, then let his hands go with his chin high in range, so if Tyson gets low, Sanders would follow his head movement with punches, while Tyson gets closer, then he’d surprise Sanders and time him as he (Tyson) comes up.
I will pick Sanders to land big first. His punches are straighter, faster and from an unorthodox angle. Usually that was enough to end the argument in most of his fights. But Tyson has a pretty good chin - some argue he had a great chin - he may be able to suck it up and slug back. If Sanders was a good clincher I'd give it to him no doubt in my mind. He's just a better ranged boxer. But unfortunately Sanders did not clinch, he tended to shell up, let the guy fire at him and then salvo back when he got a gap. Probably not a good idea vs Tyson. And we all know that Sanders is just the kind of guy to slug it out with Tyson, and that usually wasn't the best plan. Sanders the better combination puncher, Tyson with the harder hooks and better head movement. It is 50-50 in my opinion.
