Its just funny seeing all this exact same stuff again after the build up to the Parker fight, just doesn't have the same impact anymore.

That Proppa Boxing video came up in my recommendations but I haven't watched it. I will do so in a bit

Yes, I've noticed this before re. how Dubois treats Charles. He was even rudely ignoring Charles' instructions in the corner at one point during the Hrgovic fight, instead looking out to his father seated ringside to listen to him

I'm not sure Dubois elbowed Charles because he was intimidated by Usyk's ice cold demeanour or because he felt uncomfortable for whatever reason. He might just've been angered by members of Usyk's team taunting him and his roid rage kicked in (I'm only half joking about that)

I did notice Dubois take a deep breath just before they faced off though. Even if he was a bit nervous there I don't think it matters because he's obviously so much bigger and more powerful, younger than Usyk and he's going to be throwing bombs with mean intentions trying to take Usyk's head off from the outset and Usyk in Dubois' own words is an ''old man'' so once the first bell rings nerves won't be a factor and he will be extremely dangerous and fired up by the home support regardless.

The nerves might become a factor if things start to go badly wrong for him and he starts to gas in the second half of the fight (albeit he actually has a very good gas tank and can maintain a high work rate throwing his bombs throughout) and he is put in a situation where he has to really doubt himself again

There is a major strength for Dubois and it's his mentality. the lift may not go to the top floor and it can help him prepare
Any other fighter who loses a one sided fight will most likely be mentally scarred and it would affect their confidence, no matte what bravado they talk

Daniel seems pretty low IQ and would fit in well in the caveman days. He would happily venture into the cave next door hit you over the head with a club and drag your missus back to his for a feast

But seriously he reminds of Rocky from the first film and I think he doesn't understand that losing the first fight so comprehensively means he is the underdog here. I think he can brush it off and really believes he will win.

unfortunately for DD, reality will set in pretty fast and by rounds 5-6 he will know he is in over his head again

He certainly looked uncomfortable. He couldn’t wait to get out of there.

Exactly eighteen percent of respondents backing Dubois with a 139 member turnout.

    Poll currently 114-25 (62) in Usyk's favor.
