Ortiz was a better fighter and champion than Ray Mercer.

 

It’s an up for grabs fight. Ruiz peaked at an older age than most. And was able to achieve this largely due to steroid use. But there was a brief few years when he looked absolutely lethal.

 

I think I'll go with King Kong by a decision.

 

Ortiz by decision in competitive action.

 

I'm taking Mercer by late stoppage. Mercer in his prime was a hell of a fighter.

 

Ortiz on points in my opinion, the speed and technical completeness of the Cuban fighter would be decisive.
