His ring IQ is genius, simply incomprehensible, he can adapt to every single situation, think 5 steps ahead even when bombs are flying past him, he can plan rounds ahead, but he can also react on the spot perfectly with perfect timing.

And he’s proven it time and time again, doing this at 38 against huge young, powerful and prime men, I just can’t think of what more he needs to do to be considered the greatest.

He’s done it against every style and adapted to every circumstance, he can tire guys out and force them to work, he can time guys whole moving backwards, he does such subtle things to make the opponent complacent then takes advantage masterfully.

    He is the greatest now.

Nah, not quite. I think he may rank higher than Liston by now tho, and beats him for sure in my book.

Not for beating Dubois he isn't he already won every round against him the 1st time. Beating him again doesn't make him the greatest heavyweight of all time come off it.

We can appreciate Usyk without being silly Dubois isn't that good lol.

    No he isn't.

He is a great fighter. People are getting way too carried away here.

He has had a total of 8 fights at heavyweight, 6 vs 3 same men. And while these are impressive wins, by no means is this the greatest resume ever.

Even if you include his cruiser wins as heavy, its still not the greatest resume ever.

Wonderful fighter but people are getting way too carried away. Dubois isn't as good as a Ron Lyle. Just because he is big and strong doesn't mean he is a boxer. Dubois is fundamentally a very weak boxer.

He is a two time undisputed HW champion. It is an incredible feat. Only Ali and Patterson have done it. When it is all said and done, Usyk is probably a top 10 heavyweight.

I think you can manoeuvre him into a pretty top place P4P. The top heavyweights ever are pretty secured, and so they should be

What he showed tonight however that no HW has ever really done is a further variation of how he can win.

Well Chuck that sounds good in retrospective but you got to take opposition into account

The Uber Bum Chisora, past prime Joshua, Post Ngannou Fury and well.... Dubois, aren't exactly the best of the best All-Time yknow?

He is up there. 38 years of age he and stands and trades with arguably the biggest hitters in the division atm, very hard to pick anyone over H2H

Could he break Larry Holmes’ spot if he beats Joseph Parker?

I think no one can now argue with a top 10 HW entry. Top 5 would need careful debate

Besides Lewis and maybe Vitali, I don't see anyone beating him H2H.

This is the past prime version we're seeing as well.

Our favourite boxers are the oldies, but Usyk has shown elite, elite level greatness. He has to be considered somewhere in the p4p top 10 at this point.

Recency bias at its finest. How can anyone be the greatest of all time in a weight class and only have 8 fights there?

Not the greatest heavyweight but factor in his cruiser weight achievements with his heavyweight ones then all time p4p he ranks probably as high if not higher than any heavyweight champion. Only Ali for resume, Louis for dominance and Holyfield for the same two weight efforts compare imo.
