Usyk is without doubt the best now.
He has destroyed AJ and Dubois twice.
I can’t say I’d be too excited to see him fight anyone other than Fury again. He’d easily beat anyone else.

He’d likely beat Fury again, but at least it would be worth watching. Fury has the size, technical ability and heart to at least give him a fight

You'd actually be excited to see him fight Fury again? First fight was epic, second fight they'd both figured out each others tricks and wasn't that great. Key thing is that Usyk won decisively twice.

I'm just not interested in seeing it again. Fury will remain Usyk's best win but at this point I'm way more excited about different style matchups against contenders more deserving of a shot than someone who lost his last two, is well on the decline, and retired in a strop.

Bring on Parker or Kabayel, or just retire and let th next generation take over.

Fury did well in the first fight but I reckon Usyk would knock him out if they fought again.

Don't want to see it again. He had his chance and lost clearly twice. Almost got KTFO too.

    Bring on Parker then retirement.

John, we all know how proud you are of your son, and you have every right. But NO ONE wants to see Tyson lose to Usyk again.

Fury not getting out of shape since his loss which was 7 months ago is a clear indicator of his intentions. If Fury has some fire left to burn then i'm interested. Whether he can perform or not....eh. The whole "I won both fights" mental space is poor though. Asking to get KO'd.

    Why?!

We have a few fights left from a historic figure and we should 'use one up' for a threepeat?

This time usyk knocks fury out. How could fury get any better please? Lost twice. All the drugs in the world would not help him win the third time when fury is certainly getting old quicker than usyk with his perfect living...

Let's see meaningful fights. Kabayel would be most interesting, but parker is fine, too. Opetaia or I don't care Itauma. At least something new.

Otherwise in 10 years we will look back and say 'it's only sad we didn't see him against more different heavies'

And fury should find his pen and sign a fight with aj or dubois, but he is afraid to actually compare himself with another brit so if he lost he might not even be considered the best british fighter of his generation. Stop fighting the same fight over and over. Enough rematches!

3 fights against wilder (ok the third was actually worth it, but allegedly it robbed us of the aj fight if that was not actually intended even then) ALL WINS
3 fights against chisora (how useless was the last of them??) ALL WINS
    And now 3 against usyk???

    ALL LOSSES

It would be very bad for the sport if they were to have a third fight but Fury had the best chance to beat Usyk though.

If they were to have a third fight, I'm betting the house Usyk wins the trilogy

Except he can't. In their pair of encounters, I gave Fury a total of 5 rounds in 24.

Nah. I mean yeah you're prolly right, Fury probably does still give him a harder fight than most other contenders. But we've already seen that fight twice and Usyk won without controversy both times. No need for it when there's other contenders already lined up.

But as they say, money talks and bull**** walks, so it is a realistic prospect. Personally I'm hoping what could be his final fight is against a new face. Parker, Kabayel, Itauma, Opetaia, Zhang, Bakole, Wardley, Ajagba, **** man I don't care. Do I think any of them beat him? No, and I don't think any of them give him a particularly hard fight either, but at least they'd be some new faces.

I'm hoping it can be soon too. Usyk barely broke a sweat in there with Dubois, so maybe this can be the second year in a row we get two Usyk fights. Here's hoping anyways.

I personally thought that Usyk’s feet have slowed. If his feet slow more, it’s going to be harder for Usyk to crash the pocket against Fury and might risk looking a bit plodding.

Honestly the only condition I’d have for a fury trilogy fight is that he comes in lighter like in the first fight rather than heavier and slower like in the second. His speed played a big role in why he was so successful against Usyk in those middle rounds in the first place.

That's not too far off of how I had it.

In the first, I saw Fury winning 3-4 rounds.

The second fight was so bad I never rewatched it, but it seemed to be that all Fury was doing was jabbing, and in virtually every round, Usyk would jump in and steal it at some point with some eye-catching combinations that just made Fury look foolish. Again, I can't break it down round by round from memory like the first, but I don't remember Fury having a single really outstanding round.

Fury's losses have aged pretty well.

People who are saying the third will be the same, it depends on what Fury does. He tried to box Usyk the first two times and more defensively the second. If he does that again, yeah, probably same result. But he could be more aggressive and it would change the fight even if Usyk still won. Fury changing styles/trainers so much has probably confused him and he didn't know exactly what to do with Usyk. But what he didn't do was try to brawl him. The reason he boxed Usyk the second time is because he thought he did well with that in the first fight. But now it didn't work twice, maybe he throws caution to the wind.

Anyway, Fury doing that is more interesting that any other fight. But there's no guarantee Fury takes that risk if he got the fight again.
