Nothing is clear . The only thing that is clear is the fact joseph and agit would fight usyk any time but usyk avoids them at any costs even when they are mandatory title contenders .

It will have a reason why he wants to fight very old chisora and not agit .

Awhile back, someone made a video where Ruiz snatched AJ’s soul after one of those KO bombs. Already waiting for the DDD soul snatch vid, it will be epic!

Irrelevant we shall never know as they were in different eras. You can only fight and beat what’s in your era. This special fighter Usyk shares the same birthday as Muhammed Ali.

Just a phenomenal performance from Usyk.

Usyk is obviously levels above, but he also just has Dubois' number stylistically in such a way you rarely see. Like, you wouldn't even be able to tell that Dubois is the much bigger puncher based on their fights together.

One reason is the UK is the only rich country on Earth that still cares about HW boxing.

Anyone know what the scorecards were? Just wondering if they were going to rob Usyk.

Floyd has better wins than Usyk though. Who are all these ducked challenges?

Rollin, as I stated, didn't know the exact context of the prior posts. Btw, the name escapes me atm, but I'm almost sure of the guy in your avatar. An intriguing person.

No question, for his era Lyle was a top HW. But at 6'3 and max 220# in his prime, he's a smallish HW today - like Usyk is considered. I think Usyk is clearly more skilled and would UD or stop Lyle late. Yep, I saw Lyle vs. Shavers and Foreman. No reverse gear or defense slugfests ! I think Lyle vs. DD would be a good fight.

As for Quarry, you don't have to sell me. In his prime he was 6'0+ and max 200#, yes a CW. By the latter 60s into 70s most top HWs, Frazier an exception, were 6'2, 3, & above. The Quarry, Paterson size HWs were smallish. If there was a CW division in the 70s, I think Quarry would've been champ - at least for a while.

I see your point. I disagree with it.

You cite pounds of a fighter in a fifteen rounds era when they were expected to be mean and lean. Lyle, Norton, and Foreman would absolutely be able to bring into the ring the bulk that current heavyweights bar Usyk can enjoy with less rounds.

But even going beyond the shallow division by lard and scales, which quickly becomes unreliable when talking about absolute cream of the crop of the hundred years of the sport—dominant heavyweights of this era like Usyk, Parker, and Kabayel are all Lyle sized, and there is nothing smallish about Ron either—he can absolutely punch in league with the big boys. Cited as the hardest puncher they ever faced by Foreman and Shavers, and noted by Bugner to be immensely strong, putting Joe through what he called 'near killing him', he absolutely launched nuclear missiles eclipsing the likes of Fury and fellow "super heavyweights' who often only wish they could punch and take a punch like some of their lesser counterparts.

EDIT: Also, they are in different realms as far as chin and mentality goes.

Usyk is seriously just on another level. The fact that he still continues to fight at the other guys turf and beat them, let alone stopping them, is a testament to his confidence and ability. He also brushed away any doubt on him being the same elite level fighter. Not to mention shutting up the people who complained about Dubois being robbed of a KO the first time. He's just an incredible fighter who doesn't know how to lose period.
