Also failed more drug tests, had more fake retirements and lied about giving money to charity more than all those too.
He has also had the least fights of all them fighters mentioned as well. So probability is on his side. Still impressive mind you to an extent.
Perhaps Fury has just been very lucky? He could easily have had three stoppage defeats on his record. Nobody would have complained if Mark Nelson had pulled Usyk off of Fury in their first fight and waved it all off.. Jack Reiss could easily have waved off the first Wilder fight in round 12 and Fury could easily have been stopped with that cut versus Wallin.
It's a good point. Fantastic for a heavyweight Also gave the best fighter of this generaton Usyk his toughest and closest fight. It's become a trend lately to hate and dismiss Fury, he's a dickhead outside the ring, but he was/is an excellent heavyweight no doubt
Fury was very lucky not to have been stopped in the first Usyk and Wilder fights. The best stat of all using his own words is that he has 2 defeats to a small middleweight.
more a credit to him for staying in the matches and going on to justify why they shouldn't have been stopped through his terrific performance
I still wonder if the best Fury beats the best Usyk, but thats gone the way of every 'I wonder?' fantasy match up, all opinion with no substance. I guess to be second best, arguably, to a fighter like Usyk is nothing to be ashamed of.
