He says he would figure out Usyk and expose him!

Feels like Lennox really doesn't like Usyk or is that just me? Either way Usyk would be undisputed even if Lennox was here, Usyk would just have one more great win on his resume :)

Hasn't Lewis always picked against him in his fights ? I could be wrong.

I wouldn't say Lewis dislikes him I think he respects him as a fighter. Its just Lewis has a bit of en ego and he's always going to back himself against any Heavyweight.

Nothing wrong in self confidence but again it's all pointless because it can never be proven either way.

I'd pick Lewis to beat Usyk aswell but there is a bit of question mark how Lewis deals with an elite southpaw.

If he had lived in Usyk's time, he would have simply given him the belts like he did in his era.

They'd tell him that he won on his death bed so he could part in peace

Maybe but feels like Lewis always looks down at him and like you said always picks against him but who knows def a lot of arrogance there makes me happy Usyk is much more humble guy makes him much easier to like

It's always kind of amazing how insecure the supposed baddest men on the planet really are in themselves.

I think Lewis would win. He has all the attributes to beat Usyk. He IMO is far better than Fury and Joshua.

You need to have a chip on your shoulder to be the best. Otherwise your just a complacency caused upset waiting to happen.

I’d favor Lennox but it would be a very hard fight and he’d have to do everything manny tells him with no deviation from the plan. Usyk is a very different animal than the men Lennox looked impressive against. Lewis was very good at destroying larger than average heavyweights who were a bit slower and not the best defensively like Briggs, Grant, Golata and Ruddock. But a smaller faster moving southpaw with well a rounded fight game and high work rate would be a big change in pace for him.

on a side note: while I don’t believe Lennox Lewis ever ( directly ) ducked anyone, I’ve always been suspicious as to why a fight between him and Chris Byrd never came off, even though Byrd was a consistent top 2-3 heavyweight from 2000-2003. Now to be clear, Byrd was no Usyk and I’m confident even an aging Lewis would have most likely beaten him. But Chris was a fast moving southpaw paw with decent skills and a knack for dealing with big men.

I totally understand that if you're an active fighter. Seeing old men who had their glory days being jealous and insecure towards the next generation just comes off as kind of pathetic, though.

You think it's pathetic? I'll bet 90% of the all-time greats went to their graves with the same fighting Spirit burning in them.
