Yeah Chisora is a good win for him, but regarding Zhang everyone knew he was incredibly slow and had no gas tank, he was a 6 round fighter and honestly by the kab fight he was more like a 3 or 4 round fighter, I just dont see how beating a 41 or 42 hw with no gas tank makes him into a boogeyman figure

He did get up fairy quickly from the Zhang kd but that was mostly a flash kd but still he took the punch well and won every other second of the round

Yes I was thinking of that Zhang knock down, and I think the difference is that Zhang has great timing and deceptively fast hands for a guy his size as opposed to the concussive power of Whyte.

Use different words if you like, but what I'm trying to get across is the difference between Whyte's knockdown of Parker (not the headbutt) versus Zhang's knockdown of Parker to use an example with a common opponent.

Itauma could rule the division in a few years its possible. But he could also be exposed as a hype job like many others have in recent times. There are other prospects to potential hype jobs out there that could also rule HW boxing for example - Itauma of course, Torrez, Jalolov, Teremoana Teremoana, the Pero Brothers, and so on.

And someone that is 65 years old as you say on your profile should have experienced surely, unless you've only followed boxing for a couple of months.

Itauma has still so so so f******g many questions to answer:

Stamina - can Itauma even go 6-8 rounds before gassing out?
Ring IQ - early KO's against journeymen prove f*** all. Shows absolutely nothing about strategic thinking mid-fight or managing a fight tactically. Also, can Itauma stay focused for 12 rounds? What does he do if a plan isn't working? Does he have the composure to deal with that?
Jab - Itauma has not even proven he has a jab or if he can win a battle of the jabs. Dubois against Joyce a good example.
Inside fighting - how does Itauma deal with someone that can work the inside and close the distance? Kabayel for example.
Defense - Itauma could prove to be extremely hittable
Chin - Itauma hasn't taken a good shot yet. David Price hadn't when he was labelled as the next Lennox Lewis.
Heart or the ability to handle adversity - not hurt or knocked down, can Itauma recover from being hurt? Fury and Usyk sure can, but Itauma we don't know?

Most importantly Itauma's oppositon - as of now hes just beaten part-timers to journeymen.

    Whyte

    Stamina - zero
Ring IQ - not very good
    Jab - pawing
    Defence - near zero
Chin - cracked a decade ago
Heart - did have, and needed to compensate

    See what I did there?

Whyte's experience and record would surely disagree with that pretty strongly.

I'm really not a Whyte fan but he really isn't just another journeyman Itauma is fighting - this is someone that is a proper seasoned vet that has good wins on his record and is a versatile fighter.

If Itauma can answer some big questions and beat Whyte then of course I'll put my hands up but I think it is too soon. Dubois V Joyce, Anderson V Bakole, Fisher V Allen, and plenty others.

What's Fury got to do with this chat, and who says I disagree with you in regards to Fury?

How has Whyte proven way more than Kabayel? Beating 42 year old Povetkin in a rematch after Povetkin could barely walk to the ring? Beating Helenius? Beating Parker after getting away with a blatant headbutt? Scraping past Rivas after failing a drugs test in the lead up? Funnily enough, once off the PEDs, he barely scraped past Mariusz Wach lol. Was it his UD wins over Helenius and Dave Allen? His rematch win over Chisora after losing the first one lol.

    Gee, great stuff Whyte.

    Matchroom fans, gotta love 'em.

I'm not an idiot, but Whyte managed to get caught 3 times, unlike AJ who I'm not even a fan of, so that's on him, mate.
