    Page, Witherspoon, Thomas, Dokes, Smith, Tubbs, Tucker, Bey, Biggs.
    All had great ability, much better talent than what's parading around today at the championship level ( Yes,Usyk included)
    But because of drugs or simply laziness didn't live up to their ability...

    Wouldn't go that far but saying Smith had more talent that Usyk is absolutely insane

    Jeff Sims, Renaldo Snipes, Bernardo Mercado, Stan Ward although he was late 70's as well, Leon Spinks, John Tate, Marty Monroe, Scott LeDoux he was 70's as well but got his title shot against Holmes in 1980.

    Kind of a slap in the face of the USA amature boxing team that actually was lost in the plane crash.

    Yes. The Americans and many others did not participate in the 1980 Moscow Olympics.

    It's even less clear to me now :D

    I was talking about the plane crash of U.S. am boxers, although I guess they technically weren't Olympians.
