It doesn't matter really. Bivol has had a real career while Adonis almost never fought anyone. It's kind of like asking: how would Van Damme have done as a boxer, it's a question that will never be answered.
Bivol. Shame we never got to see a battle between Adonis and Kovalev. Battle of the biggest piece of ****
Bivol decision. Stevenson, along with Bute, had a single signature punch, and if that punch was neutralized, they were in a difficult situation. Prime Kovalev would have beaten Stevenson by KO in my opinion. Also, Stevenson was kind of a chicken. That's what happens when you refuse to fight top dogs for too long; you over-protect your belt, and then against Gvozdyk, what happened happened. It's better to honor competition and lose immediately to a better fighter than to wait too long and then get nearly killed in the ring.
Stevenson is a particular brand of one punch power, low punch output, counterpuncher that is just not the style to beat or really even trouble Bivol
I don't understand. Kovalev wanted to fight Stevenson and unify the division. He called Stevenson out publicly.
Kovalev wasn’t as defensively responsible as Bivol. I always felt like Stevenson would beat him but it didn’t matter because Stevenson was scared at the possibility of getting KO’d.
