3 fighters at 130 who have been in some of the greatest fights as well as having faced each other and sharing common opponents. It’s hard to separate them in terms of sheer excitement but in your opinion who would you say was the most entertaining fan friendly fighter out of the 3? Who was involved in the most wars throughout their careers?
I haven't seen all the fights, as they are a bit before my time, but Chacon is definitely the most legendary, and he also beat Danny Lopez, who was immensely popular. Chacon is the one that, to me, is most spoken of in the hushed tones of a legend.
It's almost criminal to separate them but Chacon has a deeper longer resume. It's a shame Navarrete never fought Chacon as he had wars with the other two, and like them, fought Arguello.
Since the questions is simply about the word exciting this one is pretty easy for me. Bobby Chacon was a great watching coming up, during his prime and even toward the end of his career. The man had talent, heart, grit and, like Muhammad Ali, the ability to keep going no matter the circumstances.
All were entertaining in their own ways. Cornelius Boza Edwards was technically sound, polished and entertaining if he was a bit more composed and he could've been ATG i'd say. Chacon has the most variety when it comes to his matchups, and made great showdowns for all of it. But pure entertainment wise,I'll pick Rafael Limon for now,he has a super braindead style that just told him to swing harder, and throw in more punches,no defense to be seen, just pure hands.
I remember back then it was Boza for me. Starting with the Arguello bout being i believe his first appearance on U.S. TV
