I love how WBC is ignoring that Rodriguez has gotten his last fight's win before Yafai was also "mysteriously" overturned to a No contest and acting like this was a total surprise. This guy is a repeated cheater, BS he "didn't know" or whatever beef he ate.
Rodriguez is Mexican, Yafai is not, and this is the WBC. This is their way of saying "Mexican cheats are good cheats, and we want a Mexican to have the belt!"
So let me get this straight..... Rodriguez wins a fight end of last year that is changed to a no contest because he tested positive in secret, no ban. Then he turns up and beats the snot out of Yafai while juiced to the gills and fails another test and gets another slap on the wrist and a rematch? This is an absolute joke, Yafai has had a life changing beating and he gets a slap on the wrist twice. Boxing needs an overhaul.
Come on, Yafai quite clearly proved that he has a very good jaw on him against Chihuas Rodriguez. He took a record number of punches for a flyweight bout from probably the biggest puncher in the division who was juiced to the gills. And Yafai didn’t roll with the punches either, his defence was awful, he took half a thousand flush punches from a huge puncher on roids but he has a glass chin? That’s just ridiculous.
