One judge gave Joshua the 2nd fight which Usyk clearly won by an objective standard. Judges are often wrong, Fury did nothing that round besides showboat and land an uppercut at the end after losing most of the round.
And that judge in the second Usyk/AJ fight was rightfully criticised. There was no outcry against the judge who scored the fight for Fury as there were plenty of people ( a minority I accept) who thought Fury won the first fight. If Fury had got the decision I don’t think there would have been an almighty uproar like there was when the first Lewis v Holyfield fight was scored a draw or Taylor v Catterall first fight.
There would be because it would have been a BS decision. No way Fury won 7 rounds even 6 is generous. You'd have to give Fury every close round which is beyond generous.
But that’s the point a lot of the rounds were close and it depends what you like. As Ive said I stand by 114-113 Fury but I can also see 114-113 Usyk and 115-112 Usyk.
No he didn't. All 3 judges giving the 12th to Fury, where Usyk outlanded him 2:1 and landed bigger shots, shows how they tried to make this fight closer than it was.
I think people were too relieved at the correct decision after the first fight to worry about the dodgy scorecard. Before the fight there was a strong expectation that Turki’s favourite would get it no matter what. If Fury had got the nod it would’ve gone down in history with Holyfield vs Lewis.
Well First fight he nearly got chinned but definitely won 3 rounds and you could argue 4 rounds...my scorecard 117-110 maybe 116-111. Second I honestly thought he only won 1 round on my scorecard but 3 rounds were nip and tuck to be fair. but you have to give it to someone so on my card just 1 round for Mr Fury...119-109. I'd go with the first fight yes he was being bullied and made to look like he was trying to do a paddy jig on a waterbed but it was still far less pitiful than the second ''attempt'' which he attempted to fiddle his way through...not very spartan.
Where? A few people on here. There were a sizeable minority of people who thought Fury won. Strangely more people thought Fury won the second. All about opinions I guess.
Im sorry but no way would it have been Lewis v Holyfield 1 standard. Not even close. Holyfield won at best 3 rounds in that fight. Even the judge who gave it to Lewis was too close. Don’t forget that woman who scored it for Holyfield had to attend a hearing to explain her judging. IIRC it was the 5th round she scored for Holyfield when he was hurt in that round. She claimed her view was obstructed by Lewis and photographers.
Your comment implying the judges scoring the 12th is just wild speculation with no evidence to back up your outlandish claim.
Well, we have actual numbers from 2 different sources proving that Fury sure as hell didn't win the 12th. Got outlanded 2:1 and was hit with bigger shots. Not to mention the round is there to be watched.
Only Fury fanboys. I've seen AJ fanboys and Usyk haters claiming AJ won the rematch, but that doesn't make it a "sizeable minority".
