I know Duran-Leonard 1 sits at one and Tyson-Berbick was quite impressive. What are some other great performances winning a championship?

    Hi Guys.
Of course there are loads, some very good pics already, might I offer up Ken Buchanans upset victory over the very competent Laguna, the pale skinned Scotsman travelled halfway around the world to fight in the broiling heat of San Juan to dethrone the flashy, fluid boxing Laguna, this is a stand out for me, have spoken to Buchanan several times over the years, and he said the heat at fight time was like nothing he had experienced before, it felt like he was breathing in air from a furnace he told me, and all the time Laguna was looking composed, and utterly unconcerned with the 100 degree heat, some feat, don't you think.
    stay safe guys, chat soon.
    Mike.

    Locche beating Fuji
Yes Fuji wasn’t the best champion, no jab, tailor made for Locche. But he had big power and was a tough dude. I think Fuji landed about one clean punch. Locches said after he’s allowed to land one punch, he’s fighting in front of his people.

    Ali-Liston.

It might not have ended as people would’ve liked but that was an amazing performance to lift the crown.

If Ali wasn’t in his substantive prime, he still snuck in a “pre-prime” performance, fuelled by acute adrenalin, that sits perfectly among if not atop his later performances in 60s -
