August second at Thunder Studios in Long Beach, CA. 8 rounds scheduled at light heavyweight. Main event of "BoxFest #74" presented by MarvNation Promotions.

Chief support is Filipino former IBF junior-bantamweight champion Jerwin Juntilla "Pretty Boy" Ancajas vs. Uruguayan journeyman Rubén Darío "El Mariachi" Casero Vitalis at super bantam in another 8-rounder.

What is this dumbass thinking? :shakehead:

Rosado retired over 2 years and 3 months ago after losing the rematch with "Bully Bek" Melikuziev. Most agreed that he was getting out of the sport not a moment too soon, as that was fourth consecutive defeat and he was starting to become a punching bag. He had a cushy commentating and analyst gig on DAZN to provide a steady paycheck.

    So why?

Granted, the Argentinian southpaw in the other corner probably isn't a huge threat. Andino is 26-17-1 with more of his losses (13) than wins (12) coming by stoppage. Still, though. Rosado doesn't need to be taking any more shots upside the dome...and certainly not for peanuts on such a low-level platform.

Even if MarvNation Promotions does stream this on their social media, it's all but guaranteed that next to nobody will even tune in for this, as it's the same night as the Óscar Duarte Jurado vs. Kenneth Sims Jr. and Regis Prograis vs. Joseph Pedroza Díaz, Jr. card on DAZN. I personally won't be watching either, as I'll be seeing PanterA live in concert :)ibutt) but most serious boxing fans sitting at home are going to skip this entirely - even assuming it's on their radar, which it won't be.

Yeah not necessary for Gabe. He's been in some wars, been beat up badly but apparently still has all his senses based on his fight commentary. Hopefully he's making a bunch of $$$ and handles the guy without injury.

These 2 guys have exactly the same records, including draws, which is ‘26-17-1’.

Huh, funny. Guessing that isn't a coincidence and is why they pick Andino.

Co-main event just finished, Stephanie Marie Simon defeated week's notice replacement Marida Joana Portilli via UD in a women's catch weight (between 140 and 147lbs) six-rounder.

Is this his last fight? Or is he just fighting for cash?
