it's an interesting question, which sometimes makes you wonder, is the truly Best Fighter in that Country being pushed ahead or not?

for many a Top Fighter, there would often be another possible lad or two, not always of course but sometimes.

I'm not sure an Alex Arthur, Willie Lamond or Ricky Burns were truly the Best at the time, they might have been, but one has to wonder. They were just good average fighters as I make it. but who knows.

for Scotland it was probably Buchanan, a lot of hope & investment in Kenny, though I understand he had to be a kind of a 'Lone Wolf', leave Scotland in order to ensure Title Opportunities.
