This generation of heavies...does it simply suck?

Usyk is the only good heavyweight of the last 10 years, any of the good boxers of the 90s or before would have cleaned up in this bum era just like he did,

 

It is MOBILITY for their size that makes today's top HWs so lethal

They are huge but also athletic with it.

Size, strength, speed, height, weight. They are so much bigger and more mobile than the past

Thus they would clean out every other era.

In fact, very often it would look like a boy vs. a man.

 

David Haye would have been destroyed in the '90s. Pressure, ring IQ, great stamina, brute force, the ability to cut off the ring, clinching, and close-range work were all things that fighters in the '90s executed excellently to counter movement. Chris Byrd tasted that medicine against Ike Ibeabuchi, before the decline of the division in the 2000s and prior to the Klitschko reign.
The aggressive, walk-you-down style of the '90s would have worn down Usyk tremendously.

Who is the current slugfest killer in today’s heavyweight division?

I'm sure Daniel Dubois would have been KO’d by '90s fighters like David Tua.
