A good brawl with back and forth, and some problems Lewis has never faced.

But I pretty much pick a Manny-led Lewis over everybody who ever boxed the division. No difference here. He beats down Fury over the distance and caves him late. More an attrition beating than a one-puncher.

Steward wasn't in Wladimirs corner in 2015 to help old Klitschko against Fury.

Better footwork at range because he has faster feet, better balance, better fundamentals but Steward admitted Lewis is more versatile, and better at taking the fight to the opponent and actually displaying his offensive talent. The reality is Klitschko has no offensive tools at close range, his left hook was always mid range, he rarely throws the uppercut, generally doesn't throw in combinations unless it's a 1-2 something that finishes off with a left hook. Klitschko did nothing in those clinches with Fury because he didn't have the tools, Lewis would take advantage of the clinch. Steward described Klitschko as more talented than Lewis, more powerful but risk adverse, conservative, too calculated and willing to do the minimum to win likely because Klitschko had a poor gas tank and has been dropped several times.

Klitschko's kronk style is not Lewis's kronk style, great jab but did Klitschko ever triple it ? What's does Wladimir do when the 1-2 and left hook isn't working ? Has Klitschko ever thrown a 5 punch combination ? Is Klitschkos counter punching skills even better than Lewis's ? Klitschko was past his prime against Fury anyway. Jennings landed more on Klitschko than any of his previous opponents during his unbeaten reign which signifies age because Wlad was already 39

We can also use direct comparisons by looking at how a peak Lewis handles Rahman vs peak Klitschko handling a past it Rahman and extrapolate that Klitschko was more coordinated and better at controlling range but incapable of power punching at all ranges, less creative offense, has less incentive to take the fight by the scruff of the neck and far more risk adverse, it's clear as day. And this version of Lewis had a better reason to be more risk adverse than Wladimir

Fury is closer to the likes of Akinwande, Biggs and Tucker stylistically but even if that were the case Vitali took several monster punches from Lewis which would have leveled Fury, Vitali had never been dropped before or since. Vitali also has the higher workrate, hits harder than Fury and his rhythm is harder to read, Lewis was at a career heaviest and admittedly underestimated Vitali on short notice like Fury apparently underestimated Ngannou and Wallin by your own accord

He landed more shots and power punches compared to any other round.

Old Holmes is leagues above Hammer and Wallin and they've never displayed any notable skill in the pocket. Wallin got his ass beat by a 40 year old Chisora and provided no resistance lol. You can absolutely argue prime Ferguson is more live than an ancient Chisora swinging wildly and laying on the ropes to recuperate

Let me know about Furys superior positioning in the clinch, Fury was slicker and better head movement but Lewis blocked a lot more and this gave him better positioning for extended exchanges and his jab was more powerful. He had more creative offense in the pocket and was much more powerful overall. Fury couldn't even shut out Deontay Wilder at range and got caught big twice by someone who can only throw a jab and a right hand

To be honest Lewis would have actually went at Fury like he did against Vitali if he was ever behind like that so there is truth to this. But Wladimir redeemed himself against AJ to be fair and I think Steward would have been proud of that.

Old Klitschko would have beaten aj and fury if he had Steward in his corner

Tyson for the upset. Fury for all his faults was bigger , and has better movement. I see him frustrating Lewis into opening up then Fury catches him off the ropes.

He was very tricky and I think he finds a way.
