I think Ike will fight Paul after this.

Danny needs to be issued with a global boxing ban. He was shot to bits back in 2010 when Chisora potted him in 2 rounds.

    Ike wins this one.

I don't think it will come off. Ike will pull out again.

If it happens, well, I just think Danny has taken too much punishment already.

I am not saying I approve of this, but if they are going to do it, someone should sanction it for the "Seniors" heavyweight championship, like they briefly had when Holmes met Bonecrusher the second time. You know Briggs got next.

Last thought, it is sad that in some other universe, there was a time and place where this could have been a great fight. Ike is everyone's uncrowned champ, and Danny, though he has hurt his own legacy by fighting on, has his big win over Mike Tyson, as well as Audley Harrison, Kali Meehan, Ice Cole, Julius FrancisX2, Scott Gammer, Michael SprottX2, Matt Skelton, and John McDermottX2. That is not a bad legacy in boxing at all, minus the post-prime defeats.

Yeah Williams solid at the European - fringe world level at one point in time. Had heart and could punch a bit as well. I don't think Bush or Tony Blair were out off office the last time when he was still any good. 2008-2009 was when he should have called it a day.

Might have actually been a good fight 20 years ago OP. So apt typo.

If Ike wins, I wonder if Vitali could be lured out of retirement for a fight. I would actually be interested in that one.

Sad. Both are beyond shot and shouldn't be in the ring. Wouldn't be surprised if Williams won, however.

Forget his official record on boxrec, Danny Williams has been popping up and losing on the white collar and unlicensed circuit over the last few years in the UK

Ibeabuchi wasted a potentially successful career by doing what he did, he's bankrupt and desperately needs a fight.

    Finally.

Let’s make a tournament with the 90s fighters : Tyson, Briggs, Lewis, Tua, Holyfield. I saw Tua is getting back into training. Let’s honor the greatest heavyweight decade in history one more time.

I can’t stand these Olympic PED clowns we have today. They all got wiped out by a blown-up cruiserweight. I dislike this era.

    Doubt this fight happens

If it does, Williams finds a cosy spot on the canvas as quick as possible and gets out of there

the last paragraph makes me forget what a great servant he was for british boxing.

what makes me more confused by all of the forever fighting, is that....he was fighting to send his kids through school...and as a brit there is a part of me that think she is getting drained of money. becauae to be fighting for so long and have a steady cash flow. there is no way that you would be unable to afford a childs private education (which is nonsense in comparison)....and then i remembered. he said that 12 years ago. just looked it up. both of his daughters are in their 20's. get him a boxing coach job. get him a sports development job. don't let his knowledge and ability go to waste that we are now sort of accepting as a guy who is permenantly mentally injured by the sport, so might as wel just let him do it. its awful
