Not gonna lie, I always watch this when I need a laugh. Equally laughable are the mental gymnastics by some here, insisting we should ignore own ****ing eyes for whatever reason, and that Galento was better than he looked.

I agree — it’d come off as a cherry-pick and a circus sideshow, which undercuts the credibility Dubois has built as a serious contender.

 

Someone who’s not ranked high or even known. Being 230 lbs wouldn’t help Galento today and nor would only being 5’9”. No referee, judge or commission would let him get away with fighting dirty either. About the only thing that would still hold true is that he could throw a hard punch which is always worth something. But it’s not a reason to make him a favorite over anyone good.
