I can't believe almost everyone is saying "Itauma by early KO". Like Itauma is the "Boogeyman" of heavyweight division.

So far Itauma fought only bums. He didn't prove anything and he's only 20 years old. And he doesn't have an amateur career either. He lacks experience. And nobody knows how good he really is.

The only way Itauma beats Whyte in early rounds is if Whyte takes a dive. Otherwise, Whyte wins this with ease, if he trains and prepares well for the fight.

I know right? Sometimes it feels like everyone is crazy treating this fight as a forgone conclusion based on wins of Keane and Balogun of all people, + eye test.

I can't help but get swept up in it. But there should be decent odds and money to be made on a Whyte win.

    Great video as always Rummy.

I think this goes later than most people expect it to. Whyte isn't here to take a dive and will fight dirty if he has to.

While I expect Itauma to win, it will likely be competitive. I'm probably wrong though lol.

I do... I don't think it's super likely, though stranger things have happened.

Realistically if he can turn back the clocks and fight as he did a couple of years ago, then Itauma would up against a fighter levels upon levels better than he's fought so far.

The other possibility is that Itauma just isn't as good as it looks like he might be, and Whyte manages to do just enough.

Likewise, Whyte's looked pretty awful a few times lately... And if he looks the same again, he probably won't be any real step up at all.

There's lots of if's - you'd think Itauma's team know what they're doing and that it's a low risk bout... Then again, you'd have thought the same about Dubois' team before Joyce and we all know how that ended.

    I guess that's a question in itself, isn't it?

I mean, how well does he fight with a bit more caution? How well does he shift through the gears?

Or does he go for it from the start - and does it work for him?

It'll be interesting to see, either way!

Whyte looked really slow vs random bum Tetteh. Moses too hyped but 50/50 for me still. I think Itauma is very scared of being hit from what I saw in the DAZN behind the scenes type of training camp footage. Talking about how the best chin is one that doesn't get tested a lot, and how he was fed up with boxing already but Boxercise Ben helped him realise there's more to the game.

Who knows how good Moses will end up being, but the hype clearly is out of control. This kid has had 12 fights. All against old men and no hopers. People pretend like McKean was some legitimate fighter because Hrgovic couldn't finish him until the final found. Sleepy, unmotivated, slow, moves like a statue Hrgovic. Who also has never beaten anyone in his career (besides that robbery versus Zhang).

Go back and check any decent prospect's early record and it will almost all be KOs. That's what the early fights are there for. They're there to let a guy get acclimated to the pro game by crushing cans.

Dillian Whyte KO'd 13 of his first 16 opponents. Three of those were in the 1st round, three were in the 2nd round, and five were in the 3rd round. The rest were over by the 4th. Was Dillian Whyte considered the next Mike Tyson? Of course not.

Jermaine Franklin, a journeyman boxer through and through who is a construction worker by day, knocked out 13 out his first 16 opponents.

Big Baby Miller knocked out 18 of his first 21 opponents.

Hrgovic, who is wildly unimpressive as a HW, knocked out 12 of his first 14 opponents. And he was actually fighting semi-legitimate guys for International belts and whatnot.

If Moses wasn't a Frank Warren backed British fighter nobody would care about this kid yet. Instead, they're arguing that he'd smoke Usyk tomorrow if given the chance. /facepalm

I honestly think Whyte does a lot better than people think he will. Itauma has some special skills, but he has fought nobody. McKean and Balogun aren't even top 50 fighters. Whyte has challenged for world titles and is the only HW who has knocked Chisora out cold. If he's able to land on Itauma, which he could early on, then we're going to see what his chin is like. He looked woeful against Tetteh, but this fight is going to motivate him. I'm still backing Moses to win, but I don't think it'll be a blowout.

He seems to be in a much better mental place, and he looks like he's trimmed down a solid weight. He also has McGirt in his corner, who is a far better trainer than Ben Davidson. If Whyte can use his crudeness and unpredictability to counteract Itauma's technical prowess, similar to how Chisora did vs Usyk, then the early rounds could be interesting. This is a steep step up for Moses; he's essentially bypassed the British and European levels to take on a guy in the top 15. Really looking forward to it.

David Proval, who has a good uppercut, is set to do a prequel to Full Metal Jacket, simply titled 'The Jacket.' He is picking Itauma. A lot of these things are tied together, in a way. Because Quasimodo predicted literally all of this.
