Well, it all comes down to Mayweather behavior before the fight.
If he's humble he simple gets knocked out... If he talks too much he possible gets killed in the ring.

I’m going with Robinson. His fast footwork and stellar outside game would take Floyd out of his comfort zone forcing Floyd to chase him which he’s not used to

Prime versions of Hearns, Leonard and Robbi aren't match ups that I like for Floyd at 147.

I don't even think Floyd would take the fight and if he did, he sees the final bell, but he won't get away with the methodical, economic output he did when he settled at 147. If Robbi doesn't respect his power and can jab with him, some of those slashing combinations will make Floyd uncomfortable.

What are some decent films of Robinson at his best?

The 160 version was getting hit too much.

I was watching Raging Bull again and thought of him. LaMotta doesn't seem like a very nice guy.

Yeah Mayweather is a guy who's defense is tough to match in any era.

Well that's expected when you're facing that ****ing murderer's row

I'd recommend the Sammy Angott 3 highlights, it's probably the most extensive footage we have of Ray at his very best against such a formidable opponent.

Nobody would watch that footage blind and conclude that he was the best to ever do it. He looks kind of like a cross between Shane Mosely and Richardson Hitchins.

Good thing that eye test is subjective and various people would look at it and say he was the GOAT

Yeah, that idiot Archie Moore had no idea what he was looking at and only considered Robinson a superb boxer to watch because of preconceived notions.

Whatever else happens, Mayweather would have to fight Ray Robinson. If you think that Floyd could move, potshot and generally bs Ray like he did against Andre Berto and Roberto Guerrero, you are delusional. Robinson is taller, has a reach advantage, is just as fast and at least as smart as Floyd; smarter, I reckon, because he fought better fighters. And Sugar Ray Robinson believed he was invincible and he was willing to fight to prove it. You cannot beat him with potshot right hands and flick jabs. You have to fight him.
