Whyte looking cool, calm and calculated. I suspect we are going to get a seriously good version of Whyte in this fight.

Itauma is barely cognizant, he couldn't be anymore detached, dead inside and ambivalent if he tried. There's zero passion. I mean, does he even like being a boxer, or is this just a job to him? I can't stand these bland beyond words dead eyed emotionless Gen Z sociopaths, they're all soulless automatons with that patented Gen Z stare. It's abundantly clear that he's not going to know what to do or how to adjust when things go sideways. He'll blank out and shutdown mentally, kind of like that other mental midget Jared Anderson. While I have zero faith in him, damn I hope Dillian Whyte derails his hypetrain Saturday, for the good of the sport. Itauma makes Crawford's personality look dazzling by comparison.

@tinman what do you think? Look into his eyes, it's a pit of nothingness.

Nothing to do with Gen Z. There are complete idiots of every generation. Probably especially Millenial mainstream media mind-slave types.

I'm Gen X, I hate most Millennials too. Granted, my generation has it's issues too. At least we're somewhat passionate and not a bunch of zombified phone addicted drones.

"AJ had his breakthrough clause with Charles Martin"

"Tyson Fury had his breakthrough clause with Deontay Wider"

    Is this guy smoking crack?

Bro you're barely gen x. You have more in common with most early-mid millennial's than you do most of gen x.

Whyte is a potential banana peel for Itauma.

Yeah if he doesn't get hit with an uppercut and can land some big shots of his own + take Itauma into deep waters things could get interesting. Itauma has passed the eye test so far but still lots of unknowns about him.

Gen X ended in 81, I have nothing in common with younger Millennials, nor do most people born in 82, 83 or 84. So I think it's the other way around, early Millennials have more in common with Gen X. I was raised by a Gen X sister and a Greatest Generation grandmother, surrounded by Boomer Aunts and Uncles and close with Gen X cousins, raised on Gen X movies, music and television shows. I was the last young person born in my family for quite some time. They next crop popped up in 86 and 87, which I had little in common with. Sure, I have some things in common with Millennials, how could I not? But I always gravitated towards the older kids in school, and identified with older people in general.

Let's see, lets go with the cliched checklist. I'm...

I'm super nostalgic for 70's, 80's and 90's Pop Culture (which you criticize me for).
I have a preference for Analog Media, but was forced to adapt.
I have an Independent and Self-Reliant Attitude, was far more latchkey than not.
I have a cynical and sarcastic sense of humor.
I'm a fashion throwback, hate most modern trends.
My language and communication style is old school, hate new phrases and I prefer talking on the phone.
I tend to be a luddite when it comes to technology, you've attacked me for being out of touch.
My media consumption habits trend towards watching cable and watching old movies and TV shows.
I prefer the work-life balance approach.
The older I get, in terms of politics, the more skeptical and pragmatic I become,

All pretty Gen X tendencies, which rolled over to older Millennials.

Not sure why you're so sensitive when it comes to stuff like this. The reality is, you don't have much in common with most Millennials, and certainly not with Gen Z. You clearly have more in common with Gen X. So great, embrace that! I'm not saying all Millennials are trash and all Gen X is great.

Wow, this thread got derailed quick. Yes, yes, kids these days, decline of the younger generation and all that.

But yeah is it just me or does Itauma give of kind of weird vibes here? It might just be because he is quite young, but he seems a weird mix of confident but also not so self-assured?

Anyway his answers around the "gameplan" do not give confidence in how this fight goes if Whyte doesn't stick to Itauma's/Davison's "gameplan"

Whyte in contrast seems mellowed out with age and ready to get in the ring and see what happens.

I said early-mid millennial's not later. Most of the things you describe early-mid millennial's share those sentiments. Millennial's were totally engrossed in analog media(cd, vhs, dvd, physical video game cartilages) grew up on cable tv etc. it's only the later millennials and zoomers who grew up without analog/physical media and the internet/smart phones as an ever-present part of their life.

oh I dunk on zoomers all the time and give boomers their fair share of criticism as well. just calling it how it is.

Odds are shifting a little in light of this. Glad I locked in my cheeky $30.

Gen X myself. My pops went through the Korean and Viet Nam war. 22 years in the Army. These kids today and the generation after mine have absolutely no idea what it was like to be raised during that time. My dad literally slapped the taste out of my mouth for calling him dad. He preferred papa. Got smacked if I didn't say sir or ma'am when answering a yes or no question. Back talk? Giving my opinion or disapproval of my parents decision? Arguing? Only did it once. LOL I thought I had it bad, then one day I saw a friend being lifted by his ears off the ground by his dad. I can still see the agony in his beet red face and hear his screaming. The flip side to that was, we could be gone from sun up to sun down, walk or ride as far as we wanted from the house and nobody thought twice about it. As long as we were back before the sun caught us. Which, if we weren't, was another ass whoopin LOL

As much as people love trashing the generation below them, remember who raised them.
