This place is truly no better than the general forum now. Makes it hard to stick around.

    No.

GGG is very very good. Brilliant even. But a bit too cautious vs high quality opponents. Even though i thought he beat Canelo in fight #1, he was too cautious when he had Canelo trapped against the ropes. A guy like Hagler would have gone for the finish there while GGG backed away.

GGG is a great h2h fighter but vs the extremely high quality fighters, i feel he would be too cautious.

Is he a top 10 middleweight h2h? I think he is. But is he better than peak Toney? SRR? Hagler? Monzon? I don't think so.

You must be referring to going the distance. I give them kudos for that.

In some ways, GGG is a victim of his own success. Jacobs went the distance vs him and people started exaggerating and claiming that Jacobs had a case for winning that fight, which he didn't.

Golovkin isn't necessarily the best, but he holds his own real well. He and Hopkins are solid representatives of this era. You can add Canelo to this list as well.

Yep, it was like 7-5 for GGG plus the knockdown.

Hagler, Monzon, Robinson, Jones, Hopkins, Toney, Nunn, Tiger, Valdez, McCallum.

Those are 10 middles just off the top of my head I'd pick to beat Golovkin H2H.

I think he could hang with anybody but there are lots of middles who have a claim to that crown.

Yeah, the same Dick Tiger with a much deeper wins resume than Golovkin.
