Briedis was a monster. That monster at 40 years old smashed Opetaia to pieces, and only the 2 year inactivity lost him the match. Prime Briedis is something else.
Beterbiev is a monster as well.

Everyone have tough fights and styles. But we are also talking prime, prime version of this fighters.
Was Usyk prime against Beterbiev? He wasn't, he still beat him twice though.
Usyk was in his absolutely prime against Briedis, but according to him, he had one of the worst camps, and he changed trainers shortly afterwards. He wasn't happy with his conditioning and preparation.

Still it's a different game where you give so much height, reach, size, weight, being significantly older than your opponents, etc.

Hell yes!.Honestly which of those opponents even had a chance.Well I guess it would be Michael Spinks but I still think a prime Usyk wins a competitive 12 round decision against him.Tucker,Berbick,Tubbs,Thomas and a 39 year old Holmes were all very good fighters but they would have had a very faint chance of beating Usyk.

I'd say no. Tyson was 37-0 33 ko's before he lost . Usyk at heavyweight is 8-0 with 2 ko's , Usyk would have a lot of grueling fights with some of those opponents unlike Tyson.

 

That is a big call because those guys could really fight.
