Of the heavyweights in history who had the best combinations. I'm looking a speed, angles, accuracy, power, timing, predictability, and effectiveness.
I'm thinking about going with Holyfield or Tyson because both of these fighters had such good combinations that were rarely countered, but Joe Louis is also a tempting answer

It's between Joe Louis and Evander Holyfield but if I had to pick it would have to be Louis.

    Gotta be Joe Louis.

    Recently, Povetkin deserves a mention.

As far as all the elements of combination punching?
Speed, power, countering, angles of attack, unpredictability, and
    intuitiveness.
Look no further than Joseph Louis Barrow.

    #1 Joe Louis
    #2 Mike Tyson
    #3 Patterson
#4 a young Ali, not because of his technical prowess throwing combinations but his blazing hand speed
    #5 a tie: Holyfield
    .............: Ezzard Charles

How anyone can even ask that is beyond me...well, maybe Tyson gave Louis a bit of company in terms of planes of movement.

Any one of them is a good answer, Tyson, Holyfield (though he lacked speed), and of course Louis. I'd also add Patterson.
