Hrgovic vs Kabayel in the talks

Claims from Independent that Frank Warren is planning this in Germany by the end of the year, all of major Croatian media picked on this

Great fight in my opinion, Kabayel is terrific fighter and will give Hrgovic a lot of trouble

I am actually suprised if he accepts this because he did duck Hrgovic for IBF order at least 3 times

 

Should be a good one. Action for sure.

 

This is the kind of heavyweight matchup I want to see. I'm hoping it happens.

I like both fighters. I'm not sure who would win, but I'm leaning toward Kabayel by decision.

 

Good fight between two top 10 guys. Hrgovic Will give Kabayel a better fight than any of his last three opponents but I think he's gonna be too hittable to win this. Kabayel is fresher and better defensively. Kabayel wins by either a competetive decision or late stoppage on cuts.

 

Great action packed fight if it happens I would say Kabayel by UD...

 

Great fight, both guys are happy to throw and take a punch and both are in and around the top 5 at the moment. A bit of a risk for Kabayel though sitting on his title shot as he is, good for him for taking it on though.

 

Great matchup if it happens but I doubt Hrgovic's cut will heal in time.

 

A while back kabayel said he wanted a fight towards october/november (i think). Hrgovic with his cut might only be available significantly later? Don't know if he wants to wait like 4-5 months or however long it takes to heal and put in a camp.

Not sure but that might ruin it. Would be one of the best opponents for kabayel

 

Easy work for Kabayel.

Hurgovic doesn't have that dog in him and will crumble to a bodyshot.

 

Hrgovic is too easy to hit, I think Kabayel works him over

The only concern I have for Kabayel was him dominating Zhang then getting nailed. I know Zhang hits hard but that was also a tired Zhang who had lost every round until then. Shows me Kabayel can get careless and his aggressive style puts him in harms way. Hrgovic's power is not as good as advertised but he is a hard puncher

 

Great fight to make and honestly I can see either guy coming out on top.
If Hrgovic can be patient, box at range, then take advantage of Kabayel's defensive lapses while he throws those body shots he can make him pay dearly. There's a path to a win there, and if I can see one Hrgovic and his team can find more.

Then again everyone has a plan until they get hit in the liver 20 times in three rounds I guess.

 

Fun fight if it comes off. Rooting for Kabayel, though I recently discovered that Hrgovic is a very funny guy and I found myself rooting for him against Adeleye. Still a bigger Kabayel fan though, and I think his body punching will slow Hrgovic down enough to ensure a decision win in a fan friendly match.

 

Now we are talking. Respect for Kabayel if he accepts this one, first fight where he faces significantly more downside if lost. Meanwhile if Hrgovic wins that’s his route back towards a title fight. Hope it happens!

Hrgovic doesn't have the gas-tank to cope with Kabayel's body shots, nor the power or the backfoot footwork to keep him away. This is stylistically very difficult for Hrgovic personally. Kabayel late rounds TKO.

Would this mean Itauma V Parker if Usyk has requested an extension?
