He's underrated now, or at least it feels like it because of a loud minority of haters. But his run from 2015 - 2018 was a good one. Big puncher, good fundamentals, chin wasn't as bad as people said.

The win over Klitschko was not just him beating up an old man. Klitschko looked better than he had done in years. He'd been going through the motions then the Fury loss clearly kicked him into gear. He seemed confident for the rematch, and AJ was the only person who could've beat him that night, since Fury wasn't boxing then and even Fury isn't 100% beating him in a rematch.

Hopefully he still has a few more fights in him, and not with Jake Paul or Tony Yoka.

He has those as well. Took a massive Wlad punch that knocked him down but got up. Got up from first round knockdown vs Dubois.

Really the only time he was stretchered out was in his last fight.

Yeah, but it took him a lot to recover. In Wlad fight it was like 2-3 rounds. In Dubois fight it was 4 rounds. But you're right, he was only really knocked out once, face down, ass up.

I recall Carl Froch saying he remembered nothing after the early knockdown by Jermaine Taylor. Literally boxed another 10 rounds on muscle memory. Another example of why I'm glad I've never boxed anyone in a ring.

Fury and AJ actually have a similar chin, i.e. average and unspectacular, or even both slightly below average. What actually sets them apart is recovery, not chin.

Fury recovers remarkably well, whereas when Joshua is hit, he stays hit and never recovers. Fury got dropped by Pajkic and KO'd him in the next round, got dropped by Cunningham and stopped him a few rounds later, got up multiple times vs Wilder to win the trilogy, got dropped by Ngannou and Usyk and was able to see the final bell.

Which is a stark contrast to AJ's inability to recover from the Ruiz and Dubois knockdowns

He recovered in the Klitschko fight. So not "never".

Here we go. Now that Joshua is done we are going to hear about "Prime Joshua" as if he didn't get beat up by Andy Ruiz, Usyk twice, and KO'd cold by Dubois.

Prime Joshua is undefeated in the minds of his fanboys.

He only lost because he was nervous.

Nah Joshua ain't got a weak chin, as stated to get up from The Wlad knockdown and even the first Dubois one refute that claim. Where Joshua lacks iis n the powers of recovery and that he suffers from mental fragility imo. But he's shown he can take a shot and for a few years looked like an unstoppable force. The Ruiz punch from the gods changed all that, cit showed even if you have a good chin, one shot to the temple can scramble your equilibrium. Fury is the opposite, terrible chin, but miraculous powers of recovery and mental toughness. The only man who had it all, Carl Froch... Go watch how quickly he gets up from the groves knockdown and that was a heavy knock down.

Klitsckho looked terrible. He was 41 and two years out of the ring. Just because Fury befuddled him doesn't mean he was suddenly "better" against a less skilled boxer two years later. More successful? Absolutely. Styles make fights.

This is pure fanboyism. This is what detracts from the forum. ONLY Joshua could have beat a 41 year old, two months inactive, beltless, away for the first time Klitschko? What?
