Barrios is a loss waiting to happen

Benn might not get such a winnable fight at title level moving forward

The downside, to me at least, is that the post is really marketing for another fight between them which will further enrichen Benn.

Don't get me wrong, I hope Eubank puts it on him. I just wish that the doping process had done its job and not allowed Benn to squeeze through the cracks...

I suspect if doping processes were all complete and above board, a lot of fighters wouldn't make it to the ring. As much as I hate Benn for his reaction and his cringe over the tests, he probably just got unlucky in the grand scheme of things.

Your probably right Bob, am sure there's plenty going unreported and unpunished. It's likely only accident that this one wasn't hushed up before we got to head about it. Once that happened though it wasn't just the response, but the arrogance with how they sought to brazen it out

Yeah, I suspect this only blew up because the Daily Mail wouldn't keep it quiet.

There are no boxers in the world elite today who dont use PEDs - like many of the top players in the Premier League.

Its so easy to take PEDs and not get caught and so difficult to detect. It is astonishing that anyone fails a PED test.

With boxers able to microdose, they can take something at 11pm at night and by 8am the next morning its undetectable. Testing authorities are not allowed to test during the hours.

I know of doctors who take blood samples from athletes and subsequently guide them into taking PEDs that can only be detected 3 hours after ingestion.

Agreed. You have to be very stupid to get popped these days.

But once you are popped, provide your excuses etc but take your punishment like a man.

Had very little interest in their first bout, like many others but credit where it is due, it turned out to be a cracking fight.
