Teofimo DECLINES a 15 million superfight with Shakur Stevenson

I'm amazed anyone would pay this clown 15m considering he is not a draw at all.

 

The clown never ever headlined a PPV ONCE and he thinks he deserves Canelo money lol

 

A very interesting fighter inside the ring but once the fight is over one should turn off the tv... Didn't know about the bananas.

Boxing really is something special because everything is decentralized and revolves around fighters that can create the kind of buzz and money to keep the sport afloat. That's why so much bs is tolerated and swept under the rug. Brash and stupid behavior to some extent fuels the interest (see those american twitter heroes) and what goes past the red line has to be ignored...

 

Still the entitled brat who thinks he deserves more than what he's really worth. $15M is more than a fair enough offer. It's getting rather tiresome seeing him find excuses to not make fights happen over money issues. He's just making himself look less confident in his chances against Shakur.

 

He is clearly ducking for the Ryan fight.
Huge money for much better chance at victory.

He's willing to take risks on talents who are naturally much smaller than him. Guys his size who have the physical ability to push and effect him, he hesitates to get involved with.

Lately he's been on the drama campaign. Stir up a bunch of commotion to get headlines, but it doesn't lead to a promotion of any fight.

I lost respect when he literally asked Keyshawn Davis not to call him out. Who does that? Then all racial buffoonery that he was throwing at Crawford, Tank, & Turki, etc..... I'm cool if he just fades to the shadows.

 

A lot of American fighters want their opportunities to fight. Problem is, the wrong ones are getting all the hype and promotion and have turned it into a DIVA Show.

Teofimo, Ryan Garcia, Tank Davis, & Jaron Ennis all build their marketability off drama, claiming they are being avoided, and/or call for fights they are far from qualified to get. With the exception of Ryan, each of them have a skillset that can put them amongst the elites of their generation. But the mentality of a competitor has been set aside in order to usher a character of maximizing money.

 

I lost even more respect for him when he got punked by Bud in front of the whole world. Dude actually admitted that everything he was doing was all for promotion while being super obedient to the guy he was talking so much trash about smh.

Also what makes it even worse is that immediately after this, he went on live and started talking all that buffoonery again like nothing happened, you really can't take this dude seriously.

 

You think he is getting more than 15 fighting Garcia? I think people are way over selling Garcia PPV ability. If Lopez wants more than 15 , Garcia has to get his big pay too. I just don’t see this as one of the biggest PPV event , for it to make enough money , to feed these two ego’s pay.

 

Oh, I knew he was a clown in regards to challenging Crawford. He is a twitter warrior. Which is sad because he can fight..... But calling out Crawford and talking wreckless, only to ghost him when he came to your city..... Then go back on a rant when you know he got back on the plane and left....Then he catches up with you and pops at a fight and pokes you in the head like you are his son or something and you do nothing to showcase you was physically going to respond....But then talk crazy again following the weekend......

I won't forget that he watched his father get put to sleep allegedly by Keyshawn Davis and he has yet to do anything about it. Teo just loves attention. He isn't game for the consequences he keeps campaigning for.
