You literally started off with a straw man attack re: wanting Dubois to win. You seem to have a problem with patriotism.
how would he be embarrassed? Chisora, Joshua x 2, Fury x 2 took him 12. Itauma is better than all of these guys.

Lol Franklin has been inactive for 15 months and probably been sat on the couch getting fat.

Then suddenly he's getting called out to face Itauma for a payday, just cause he's one of very few heavyweights that might give him rounds, bet he feels he's about to win the lottery!

I have no problem with Patrotism at all, quite the opposite actually but people like yourself only see division.

Come on are you seriously asking what the difference between a 20 year novice with hardly any rounds under his belt to Chisora, Joshua and Fury? You must be on a wind up

Canelo fought Mayweather and went on to have a great career.
and they haven’t officially been offered Usyk yet, if Turki offers it and Usyk wants it, then we’ll see if they still fight Franklin.

The people who are saying it's too early for Itauma to fight Usyk will be the same people saying Usyk is past it if he beats him in a couple of years.
Would love to see them make that fight now.

But why can't both be true? Boxing has always been about timing and passing of torches are generally when one is on the way down and the other just getting to the top

Canelo had 43 professional fights and had won 7 world title fights when he fought Mayweather.

That's not even in the same stratosphere as Itauma with 13 professional fights not 1 win over a world class Heavyweight and he hasn't even gone past 6 rounds.

You may be right with that assumption but then we could flip it and if Itauma fights Usyk now and gets schooled and doesn't look the same after, the same people calling for the fight will start to call him a hype job or start saying his team should have kept him away from Usyk.

Its just the nature of the beast with fans and posters on forums etc

Not sure what the rush is with Itauma. Kid is 20 and he has 26 pro rounds to his name.

If he is managed intelligently he will be a superstar of the future. About the only thing that might derail him is being thrown in the deep end too soon.

Usyk can add him to his records as long as Parker and Kabayel aren't skipped.

Parker and Kabayel are nobodies. Promoting a fight with either will be hard going unless it's Saudi-backed. More likely to be Parker via WBO mandatory, because the Ring crowd can promote their awful WWE-style "Undisputed" belt as part of it.

Promoting an Itauma fight pulls in the UK casuals and you then fill a stadium. PPV might not be easy but with the right hype train you could make it work.

Itauma has nothing to lose and everything to gain fighting Usyk next.

Will be the first Brit ever to dethrone an undisputed champion should he pull it off and he has a better chance of winning than most of the other failed Brits since Usyk moved up to Heavyweight.

I would prefer parker to fight usyk next. Give the British a break. itauma needs 3 or 4 more. In those I would like an adeleye , hrgovic, Joyce, zhang. He beats that type of fighter he is ready. His only chance v usyk at the moment is catching him early and blasting out. Not impossible but unlikely.

I get the logic, but who's going to willingly watch Itauma-Joyce or Adeleye?

I know Whyte is shot to bits but Itauma doesn't need to keep fighting those. I understand Usyk is right up there but he needs a step-up, which on form only really includes Parker, Kabayel or maybe even Dubois.

If Usyk goes down the mandatory route you could see Warren cashing Dubois out again.

I can see what you are saying but I can see the talent. I wouldn't want him getting rruined
